      Bobby was absolutely wrong, about framing cliff Barnes. Bobby should be in prison along with the family. That’s where they belong. One big happy jailbird family.

    the room jr was murdered in is actually in southfork the oil barons club is on southfork property I recommend that all dallas fans go to southfork you will never look at dallas the same again you will like it even more and the feeling you will have in seeing the house on tv will be wow I've been there.

    Bobby was always the best character. He was basically a moral and good person but with some human flaws. From the original to the remake...he will always be my favorite and he will ALWAYS be the better over JR.

    This show ended much too soon. It easily could have lasted 2-4 more seasons.

      If CBS had picked it up instead of TNT it might have had a better shot at lasting longer.

      Because he hated what he did even though he knew he had to do it.

    If Bobby was my husband in this episode he would have been protecting me from JR I wouldn’t have questioned him on it he was keeping me safe.

    I love this Ann --too bad she did not allow Bobby to crawl back to her. After the kidnapping she reverted into the Ann who doesn't think she is worthy UGH.

    The old Dallas was better from many points of view. If they wanted to do a new Dallas 2005 was the last train.

    TNT were the idiots that got this show cancelled. Initially they ran the show during the summer and got fantastic ratings with less competition from the other networks. They made the decision to move the show to the fall with increased competition which ultimately led to its demise. I have friends who did not even watch the original series but watched the new Dallas because of the younger generation.

    I would never have got in a little argument with Bobby if he was my husband over protecting his family yeah we are partners in our marriage but he was protecting his family I would be in a agreement with him not fighting him on it

    There was a lot of swearing in the new Dallas......

    • @good03boy
      @good03boy 2 месяца назад

      They were on cable TV. If the Dallas reboot was on CBS again, I think there would be just as much swearing given that TV has relaxed what you can or can't say.

    They totally ruined the reboot. John Ross should have taken over JRs position to make his daddy proud like JR wanted to make Jock proud. A totally new show for a new generation of viewers. They had a golden opportunity to continue the Dallas saga with many new adventures but they ruined it. What a waste.

    Bobby is a hyprocite. He alwyays chatises Ann for the things she does, but he never looks at himself.

    • @Ares99999
      @Ares99999 8 лет назад +7

      He pretty much always was a hypocrite, even in the old series. Yes, he was generally a better man, ethically, than his brother and his father. But he wasn't above pulling off some nasty tricks when push came to shove. And more than that, he had a very hot temper which could flare up even when it wasn't the time, and he defaulted to his fists very quickly when that happened, a trait of his that sometimes landed him in deep trouble.
      While JR had a lot of flaws, he at least tended to know they were there, even acknowledged his ruthlessness and the hurt he caused others. It never stopped him, of course, but there were many times in the original series where he acknowledges that the act he pulled WAS nasty. He just thought it was necessary.
      Bobby, on the other hand, never really acknowledged he had any real flaw, and universally (with the exception of Miss Ellie and the kids) from a position of moral superiority that eventually became a bit tedious to watch.

      JD Hogg, Ares is right. Bobby is everything he said he was. I swear to god, I have never met a more self-righteous person than Bobby Ewing. Then that temper is really bad, I mean he looked at Ann, and said, I will protect this family at all costs, and nobody will stop me from doing that, not even you. That's kind of cold.
