  • This is a rare one! It's a John Deere Mini-Lift -- a 140 garden tractor with a Mini-Lift modification, owned by Don Merrihew of Michigan. Very few of these were ever made -- and even fewer still exist! Always fun to see a rare modification of a classic garden tractor.

    Nice machine. Propane option is neat. I know of a propane powered International Cub Cadet 1100, here in my area.

    What was the pricetag on these 3hp hit & miss engines in the 1920's - 1930s? Seems like they are built to last pretty much _forever_ , as long as you don't leave water in the hopper overnight, outdoors, in the winter. Even if you did, I've seen ones that had frozen and the heads cracked, so they braised or welded over the crack, and it was running on RUclips.

    He sed it write it doesn't matter about the color if you got the classic tractors.
