@@SerBDG Did they actually divorce? If so, that is incredibly sad. I have not been following the channel for quite some time now but that would be so so sad.
THIS COMMENT WAS ORIGINALLY FROM THE CHANNEL ECW ON THE "FORGOTTEN HISTORY OF MINECRAFT VILLAGERS" When Piglins and Hoglins enter the overworld they turn into zombified versions of themselves. I've always had a headcanon that says Minecraft's world is a cursed one. The humans that died have turned into skeletons, while the living humans have turned into zombies, note that I said "Living" because those zombies, just like the zombie villagers, can be cured. But, how? Curing regular zombies is impossible! Well it's impossible for Steve todo it, because he doesn't know how. He knows so many things, like how to get to the the END and Nether, and how to craft and build things, but he can't craft everything. He dosn't know how to do everything. But back to Piglins and Hoglins, since when they go over to the overworld, they turn into zombie versions of themselves, I think that a curse had been put on them that prevents them from entering their home. Notice that every mob that is native to the nether is immune to lava, except Piglins and Hoglins (also regular skeletons, but they're from the overworld) So, it's obvious that they once lived in the overworld, and now are trapped in the nether, and it is likely they're the ones who built the nether portals. One piece of evidence is the gold items you can find near those portals. Pilglins LOVE gold, and the Portals are loaded with them. Coincidence? I think not. THIS IS ANOTHER COMMENT FROM ECW ON THE SAME VIDEO Also, take note of the various structures throughout Minecraft, notice how they all obey the laws of gravity> LIke how the pillager tower is suspended by fences? And, If mobs were such a problem for the villagers or Old Builders, why didn't they make their bases in the air, where no mobs can reach them? I have a theory that this is due to the "curse" I mentioned. All blocks used to obey gravity like how sand, gravel, concrete powder, adn anvils do, but something happened that made only those select few fall. Seriously, if they were just trying to survive, they would of made their bases in the sky, only a few blocks into the air! In conclusion, structures in Minecraft look like they would obey the laws of physics, because when they were built, THEY DID. ALSO FROM ECW It seems that regular skeletons and Wither skeletons are different. Perhaps Wither SKeletons are agents of he Wither? And since Piglins attack them, they could of been friends with the builders, or wanted to take down the wither as well. Also maybe another reason Steve can't heal normal zombies is because they are to far gone to be healed and/or the de-zombification process could have changed and evolved while the zombie villagers are more fresh and more recently zombified MATPAT IF YOU SEE THIS SHOUT OUT ECW AND KEENAN WALLER WHO MADE THESE AMAZING THEORIES. Mise en abyme is a French expression which is kind of like inception for art, like if you see someone painting in a painting or read about someone reading in a book... So here it refers to the fact that you get games within the overall game of "There is no game" 😊
when im alone in the house i finish off the last of the ice cream and put the tub back. no one notices for a few days and there reaction is just hilairious :D
16:45 - "It's one of those non-sensical things" Really? It's the first thing I thought the moment I saw the flag could go under the door, you probably never saw, nor have to remove a key from the keyhole that way. This is no non-sensical, it's completely true and people do that A LOT to take keys from keyholes, your knowledge is just limited. I bet you didn't play any "escape" game because this is a repetitive thing that every escape game does.
When I am (rarely) alone in the house, I love to make myself a pot of earl grey and read a book. My husband is VERY extroverted and simply HAS to talk to me if we're in the house together, so the only time I really get to read uninterrupted is if he's not home or asleep.
When I'm alone in the house I a theatre kid am at my most powerful! I run around my house singing theatre songs and essentially perform random theatre numbers till I get tired then I play animal crossing on the big TV in the living room then sometimes I sneek snacks and watch tiktoks in an armchair with the sound all the way up.
For the question in the beginning. I’m not old enough to live by myself, but we have a dog who loves sleeping on my bed. Her name’s Shiva and she’s a pit bull if you must know, I normally call her over when I’m anxious. It helps my anxiety, not being in my room by myself. If she doesn’t want to go, then I’ll normally respect her boundaries and attempt to fall asleep myself. Something that freaks me out about my house. The power in the hallway cuts on and off at random points throughout the night, and I’m terrified of the dark. That’s normally why I need Shiva near me.
Tip when you're home alone: Watch a horror movie and you won't feel alone afterwards.

I just really enjoy the dynamic Stephanie brings to the table, that’s all. It’s nothing against you, it’s just even better with two, you dig?
Like in this nongame here. The epic point and click interspersed with casual danger dialogue reminds me of kid icarus uprising in the best way.
no steph :(
There is no Steph
No game, no steph
Matpat: lets not use the french flag as a doormat
Also Matpat puts it back and forth under the door

When I’m alone at home, I... you know... just in every room of the house. Nothing is safe
SoloPat: haha, funny reference to fnaf i made.
me: hooo boy.
O is for Ollie keeping Mat up for the next 2 weeks. 7:25
27:52 - OK, _that_ narration was pretty funny. Wasn't expecting that.
when i am alone at home i just chant: "the emperor protects" it helps alot
2:50 i don't think you want that question answered by most of the internet.
that look away after he asked it was the immediate regret
MapPat talking in french is the most adorable thing ever!!!
I was thinking about this since the morning now it finally came out
I love how at the end, when we were at the static tv, Matt was staticy too! That was so cool and so clever!!
Alternate title: MatPat being multilingual while breaking a program
Mise en abyme is a French expression which is kind of like inception for art, like if you see someone painting in a painting or read about someone reading in a book... So here it refers to the fact that you get games within the overall game of "There is no game" 😊
when im alone in the house i finish off the last of the ice cream
and put the tub back.
no one notices for a few days and there reaction is just hilairious :D
Well someone's an unpleasant person.

This isn’t a game....
THIS IS AN EXPERIENCE!
"Posted one minute ago" ooh very funky
When I'm home alone I watch RUclips :) usually Gtlive or Mithzan
Whenever I am alone, I usually binge gt lives and planning my lessons (I'm a new teacher) or my grad school homework
16:45 - "It's one of those non-sensical things"
Really? It's the first thing I thought the moment I saw the flag could go under the door, you probably never saw, nor have to remove a key from the keyhole that way. This is no non-sensical, it's completely true and people do that A LOT to take keys from keyholes, your knowledge is just limited. I bet you didn't play any "escape" game because this is a repetitive thing that every escape game does.
I was thinking that too! That's like a really old trick. And it definitely makes a lot more sense than launching the door open with a weight lmao
Matt: I think I've completed a big chunk of the game
Me: *NAH*
Ya GOTTA play Danganronpa guys, it’ll be worth your while!
IKR
I third this
I'd really like to see how they would react to things like class trials
i fourth this
Yeeeeeees
If I'm alone at night, I weigh my options, fun and work, and usually pick fun and end up binging anime.
Remember matpat, your not babysitting for the next couple of days, your being a father for the next couple of days
HECK! The Witty Banter portion changed to The Solo Banter.
27:05 to what the narrator is saying, honeslty me except im not on a computer
When I am (rarely) alone in the house, I love to make myself a pot of earl grey and read a book. My husband is VERY extroverted and simply HAS to talk to me if we're in the house together, so the only time I really get to read uninterrupted is if he's not home or asleep.
I don't get scared because I know I'm the scariest thing in the house. ʘ‿ʘʘ‿ʘʘ‿ʘ
Matpat: explaining Japanese
Mr. Glitch sitting on the screen waiting patiently: Yep, this is awkward
I think what you’re trying to say is « est-ce que vous êtes heureux? ».
*I've been waiting...*
