Dude, this is extremely high value for a maker, even under 100$. I have a spectrometer that cost 3K, six or seven years ago that doesn't even approximate the color temp like this. Big fan, and great work! I am hoping to run on an old windows, or maybe a liunix enviroment, I will let you know how it goes!
I built something like this a long time ago but it was terrible, I didn't know enough at the time. I'm happy that your project is making better progress :)
