I'm favorite moment in the main game is when Euine pushed Mobeus or however you spell it but Mobeus D an J that she fought against her fear in that scene. For Future redeemed is when my boy Rex says I'll teach them a thing or three

That was pretty epic, LOVED the teamwork to play them from her and Taion, I honestly didnt expect D and J to get caught slippin that hard lol. And that Rex line is definitely great, he had to do it to em 🤭

Meanwhile Noah is crying to himself in a corner, being the only protagonist who did not get a happy ending.

My first time playing XC3 was a phenomenal experience. I absolutely adored XC1 and XC2, but XC3 took the cake. The story made me cry so many times, the writing was incredible. People always talked about how XC1 did a better job with the story and xenoblade 2 did a better job with the characters themselves, Monoloft decided to take the good parts of XC1 and XC2 and put it all in one game. Also the game actually has good tutorials, something previous games got ridiculed for.
The Story was well written as I said previously, but the stongest point of the game was the characters. The characters were extremely well balanced and had equal time in the spotlight, which was the complaint for XC1. There isn't a character I hated for bad writing or low screen time. As I said previously, Mio is my favorite character in XC3 as she felt like the most developed character and how Miyabi impacted her tremendously.
Favorite moment of the game: the ending. It was extremely put together and made me cry so hard. he fact that they will no longer see each other again is such a heart breaking moment. Taion went from "I rather die than team up with you lot" to realizing he'll never see his Keves friends again. Noah and Mio screaming at each other one day they'll see each other again is so hard to grasp.

It's really incredible how well balanced the characters of this game are, I really do think the characters are the best part and that isn't even just of the main cast or the villains, but the Heroes as well. The Hero Quests are just a superior version of Blade Quests and the quality, effort, and time put into them is just so nice and they play off the cast so nicely. XC3 definitely has my 2nd favorite overall cast behind both The World Ends With You games, so many rpgs or games in general struggle to keep them all balanced for the long haul, but these games do an incredible job and keeping it engaging without fluffing it up with nonsense or even having silent protagonists. I could go on and on as I think you can imagine lol

I quite literally just finished the main story today even after the anniversary. I'm late for everything it seems, but I don't care. This game really does feel like a finall send off to an era created by Tetsuya Takahashi. Should there be another era in the xeno series, I would be so on board.
PS. The hero system is so much easier to manage than the awful Gacha Blade system they had in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the blade system in terms of battling, but it was a b**** and a half to get every single rare blade in that game.

It's all good lol you're not late for this or the other comment, I'm glad after this time people can still come and show some love with their thoughts.
And yea this surely felt like a true end of a saga. They said there would be more so I can only imagine they origin of this next saga, whether directly connected or not.
(And I agree, the blade gacha in theory is fun but its too much of a pain with so many and dealing with a gacha)
