I'll be 60 next year never had an opportunity to attend a live game, I started saving up for the next Michigan Vs. OSU in 2025, I want to take my older brother who will be in his 70's who also has never been to a live game at the Big House! - Go Blue, beat' Bama!
You should come to a game next season, earlier in the season. Your first experience would be more enjoyable when the weather is warmer. I've been working at the stadium (student section) for the last 9 years, so I've been fortunate to attend almost every home game during this timeframe. My favorite part of the job is being around people the first time they see the bowl. Also, prices are super high for the OSU game. Most earlier season tickets are much more reasonable.
Agree with @louofm1’s comment on attending a September game when it’s warmer. Fresno State is a good home opener in 2024 (should be a win against a good Group of 5 team) to attend. Michigan also plays Arkansas State week 3 I believe. Both games should be warmer and tickets are typically pretty cheap for games like that. Would be good to at least get in and experience a game at the Big House even if it isn’t OSU. Never know what can happen in 2 years😁
If this guy is saving up to go to a game, and he's in his 60's and will probably only attend one game in his whole life - The Game is the only game to go to. I've been to more games than i can count, vs ND, Penn State, MSU and OSU and The Game is hands down the best @@louofm1
I am a long time season ticket holder and have been to countless Michigan games over the years at The Big House and on the road. This game was a great deal of fun! Love the comment "third base can't get it done" - hilarious! Thanks for the video and Go Blue!
Great game. I sat not too far from your seat Sec 8 Row 60. As far as sitting, it was a stand all game type of day. 35 year season tickets and one of the great games.
I was at the stadium for both the OSU interception a couple of weeks ago and also with the famous surprise Grbac to Desmond Howard 4th and 1 catch, in the back of the end zone, against Notre Dame in 1991 (when I was a student). I've also been fortunate enough to attend pretty much all home games over the last 9 years. I think the Desmond Howard catch was the loudest I'd ever heard. However, that final interception in the end zone against OSU was definitely in the top 3 for me.
You picked one helluva game for your first trip (as a fan) to the Big House! That's gotta feel strange viewing the game day experience up in the stands, "through the looking glass" as it were. Go Blue! Beat Bama!
Ya Michigan didn’t really have any other home games worth going to this year lol. Ironically I was more stressed in the stands than i ever was on the field lol
@@hntr27 As a former Wolverine, I understand how you feel. As a player, you have some control over the outcome of the game. As a fan, you live and die by the players on the field.
Wish I was there. Want to be able to go again to the BIG HOUSE again in the future. Love this! Great video! Been a fan my whole life, so proud of this amazing team! GO BLUE!!!
I went to the Ohio State game in 2019. I parked right in the same Mall that you parked at. I'm almost 50 and I can tell you I totally agree that that walk is terrible. That being said I didn't know that Ohio state had our signals in 2019 but I knew something wasn't right with the defense with Don Brown. We had too good of a team that year to lose like that
Damn, you parked all the way at Briarwood!!!! You could've park in the neighborhood off of Scio Church Road (just south of Pioneer HS) and saved yourself probably 30 or minutes of walking; and you can get out from their nice and quick after the games! But hey, you got your exercise in, so I respect the hike! 😁
So I used to live in the complex on s main st and I had in my head for some reason that Briarwood was where the Buschs and No thai is lol. And by the time I got out I just went w it bc i aint wanna get caught in traffic 😂 definitely got my cardio in
@@hntr27 when I was a student there, back in the early 1990s, my buddy and I once walked to the stadium from the hospital. That was a hike! Now I work there as an usher. We now get to park somewhat near briarwood. Actually a bit further (across state st). Well, one time about 5 years ago, we were stuck in the bus for almost an hour in front of Pioneer,.after the game. Several of us finally got off the bus to hike back to our cars. It really was a long walk, after having stranded the entire day.
I was at the Purdue game a few weeks prior to the game you went to and was in Section 10 seat 32 row 75. Pretty close to where you were for the Ohio State game.
@hunter reynolds you should have videos after the Michigan games called HR Review. You have your analysis of the game and about what you saw from Michigan football. Keep up the great work! Go Blue!
I actually was in the locker room after the game with them but ppl were changing so I didn’t wanna be recording something and invade someones privacy. And i was still in shock from the game so i forgot to mention it lol
