These tanks cut through armor like a knife through butter. They look very good in my opinion.

Uhmm...I am sure you can pen a JG e100 mantlet with AP premium
It has 450++ pen due to the shell normalization

I think the reason why the lines aren't ground very much is because most people got it when it came out.
I'm sort of off and on grinding it.

We need Japanese premium TD…. Either Ho-Ro (SU-152 on a Chi-Ha hull) or Ho-Ri Production (Ho-Ri II with Chi-Ri suspension with high velocity and penetration 105mm gun AKA Jagedtiger 8.8cm for Japan)
I like to use the DPM gun on the Type 1 Ho-Ri, the premium AP removes any issues with pen you could have and pumping out 300 dmg every 6 seconds is pretty damn nice
The tier 8 just doesn’t have enough armor in my opinion. Personally the tier 9 was my favorite absolutely fantastic to play as an assault td with the armour and gun

Ho-Ri is a cute tank. Great Gun, looks amazing. and looks like a golf club if you remove the gun on the tier 10
I have yet to buy it cause its just that fun
But it pays for that penetration with mediocre armour and terrible HE alpha. Actually better to use AP against grille/wt instead of HE in this thing.

people have told me the 20kmh reverse speed on the tier x is game changing being able to back into cover so quickly after shooting.
Honestly I've always wanted the ho ri teir X it seems like a really fun tank as you showcased, but as a free to play player the amount of time it takes to grind an entire line is... ridic long. Like so long. And costs so many credits. So I think some people can agree with me on this, when I'm grinding a line I want the teirs 7-10 to be all or at least mostly very fun enjoyable grinds. Such as the grind to the E50, the Light Vic, the Sheridan, the Grill. Those lines have every tank being exciting and you can focus on just that tank for a long time, but the ho ri i feel like i would only be grinding the entire line for the ho ri
Ho ri tanks are honestly difficult to kill for sure

I love Ho-Ri, definitely one f my top 10 tanks! feels OP when I play it.
I love the T10 so much tbh I wont mind if wg nerfs the premium damage and/or pen since everything else is still pretty solid, literally the only real downside is the low HE damage

You see, these tanks are least grinded is bc it's not the most fun tanks, most of use like fun tanks that has a deep gun, and the hori line has no derp

The Ho-Ri type 1 looks like it was inspired by the german Jagdtiger
they were allies in ww2
When looking at the tier IX and X in the tech tree without a camo they kinda have that combine harvester vibe for me. Idk why but that's the first thing that came to my mind and now it's stuck there.

in my opinion, usualy people dont grind the ho-ri line because most of the japanese meds have bad armour, especialy for their tier

I've just rebought, I had played 13 games in it before and won 7 but only destroying only 6 vehicles, hey I was a noob once lol.
The Ho-Ri doesn't look amazing??? Bruh that legendary camo could arguably be the best looking at tier X imo!
The Ho-Ri's don't really stand out as an opponent to the WTs and Borsigs, because their strong suit of penetration is irrelevant when you already have no armor.

The low play rate could possibly be the alpha. Most of the TDs have 640 alpha while the Ho-Ri has 560.

i found it insanely stupid how the AT-8 tank destroyer used to have a 504mm armor plate for tier VI but now it was nerfed to 404mm but its still insanely dumb how thick it is for tier VI....

Both are quite bad for beginners because Japan and French require skills and deep knowledge of the game to play. I recommend playing on USSR and Germany tech trees

Nah hori has always been my most played favourite t10 td in close second is probably wz 113g or shit barn. The only good tanks in the line are the t7 and 10 imo
Is not the looks werid, is bc it has werid armour profile. Armour wise is just like jpe100 but weaker version it is he able so not good dpm is good
