I bought the headbanger's ball CD back in 2005 and that's when I heard SAKU the first time. Then I purchased WITHERING TO DEATH in 2006 from EMP online. 2007 I saw THE MARROW OF A BONE in my local CD shop and I completely lost my shit 😄 And needless to say I bought it instantly.
Holy moly they sound amazing! Their live sound isn't from this world... Top notch quality 👌 Unfortunately I haven't got the chance to see them live yet. But watching their concerts on YT gives me some kind of solace... BTW the bass is just absolutely brutal! Toshiya is an incredible bass player but all members are bloody gorgeous and gifted musicians 🖤

I love the ending of hageshisa so much but this live admittingly sounded like "SHOW ME THE YOU TUBE" and i chuckled a bit.. xD. I miss this band very much.... i cant believe its been 19 years already

Let the weeb in me shine through when I say Kyo kinda reminds me of a blonde Gaara from Naruto during this show lol It's so beautiful how far Kyo has come on his musical journey. DEG is far from where it began and it was such a pure evolution with many stumbles, and still the man proves to be one of the most unique vocalists to walk the planet, while still somehow leaving plenty of room for the instrumentals to shine behind it. 24:35 I love that subtle bass slide, it's so well placed. Congrats to those who made it to this show, and generally just to those who find their music as it is an experience to behold. Finally, this version of sustain the untruth might be better than the album, the rawness of the live version is so intense with the crowd interaction and ad libs

From 2020 i knew and listen Dir en Grey and are one my favourite Japanese bands.
Die always goes nuts during the chorus for Rinkaku. You can really tell that he fucking loves playing it.

Man, I feel raped by that bass. Whoever said that bass can't be heard in metal music, needs to listen to Dir en Grey.
If you can´t hear the bass, the band is doing something wrong. A good bass makes all the difference, brings alot of depth
