This piece is probably one of the most underrated in the entire FF series. There is just something about it that evokes goosebumps. Especially the heavy slow bass chords in the beginning. It takes its time to build instead heading into a straight forward motif.
This interpretation is hands down the best I've ever heard! It's surprising that it only has 180 likes-XiaoTong is truly one of the most underrated pianists on RUclips, particularly for JRPG/Anime piano covers. The depth of emotion and meticulous attention to each phrase vividly convey the emotions intended by both the composer and XiaoTong, painting a profound auditory picture. Each pianist brings their unique touch to their interpretations, but I find XiaoTong's to consistently resonate closest to the original, often surpassing it. It's even more unbelievable that they were performed on just a YAMAHA YUS5.
There is the devotion made by the musicians that creates our musical lives, while there is also dedication provided by XiaoTong Piano that delight my life. I believe the Final Fantasy music can not only enrich XiaoTong's Childhood, but it may also bring happiness to our dear children. 🥰
