    We have 11 in service. That means in carriers alone, not counting any other type of ship (even lighter carriers and assault ships capable of launching aircraft), we dwarf all others by at least 50%.

      @wargames The majority of the founders did NOT own slaves. And even the ones who did either quietly or openly supported abolition movements. Heck, even Henry Laurens started to favor abolition after his son, a staunch abolitionist, was killed in battle. You might know the son from a popular little musical about a redheaded law student with a terrible temper and a pen that just wouldn't stop.
      Also, the Constitution never says the phrase, "All men are created equal." The Declaration of Independence says that. The Constitution merely puts that principle into practice.

      @timothymcdaniel7372 2 года назад +34

      Until recently, the Japanese Navy, by their post war constitution, could not have anything classified as an aircraft carrier. To get around that, the JMSDF built the massive Izumo & Hyuga class Helicopter Destroyers, displacing 27,000 and 19,000 tons respectively. These Destroyers look like Aircraft carriers, but were classified as Destroyers until revisions to the constitution were made after 2018, with the Izumo class being re-designated as Light Aircraft Carriers once upgrades are finished to allow them to launch the F-35B. The navy then also has 36 true destroyers that displace between 5,200 and 10,500 tons. These 40 ships alone displace 319,000 tons

      Country balls are scaled to the % of data compared to the total. However in the future it is likely India will surpass UK but not Japan bc Japan is rebuilding and plans to get a 105 billion dollar budget soon. As for China they are far behind USA, with Japan around the block the gap between Chinese tonnage and Japanese tonnage will shrink. Japan primarily focuses on air and naval sectors.

Suppose the data has a total of 200 tons of veggies(nothing else came in my mind) . India has 40 and uk has 45 . The size of Uk is increased by double in comparison to India. Then you have Japan which has 50. Now the difference between the size of Japan as compared to Uk should be less than a double ( but there has to a significant increase).
