- TANDEMKROSS 10/22 Magazine Take Down Tool
If you have ever tried to take apart a 10/22 Rotary magazine you know that they come apart easy, but they can be difficult to put back together.
This simple tool kit allows you to easily take apart the magazine and then put it back together with ease! This is a must have for the serious competition shooter that wants to keep their 10/22 Rotary Magazines performing in top condition. It's important to get out the wax from bullets and any other debris that may get into a magazine after each match. This tool helps you do just that.
This tool is also a must have when it comes to putting together a TANDEMKROSS "DoubleKross' 10/22 Rotary Magazine housing. This makes the job much easier.
NOTE: The shoulder nut can be rotated as few as 8 spaces (1 1/4 turns), but this might not be enough for all 10/22 based firearms. 16 spaces or (2 1/4 turns) is an upper limit, and 2 full turns (12 spaces) is good across the board.

My factory mags were 2-1/4.
Just placed my order. Sure will be nice since I have 14 of these rotary mags
I really need to come up with some tools like this, for people who can't manage a simple task.
There are two types of people in the world: talkers and doers. The people at Tandemkross are doers.
looks easy
Looks very useful - it will be interesting to see how much more it will cost for this £4 piece of kit. Btw if you are going to instruct please understand primary school information like 1/4 and 1/3.
Do you recommend any cleaning solvents that are safe to use cleaning the Double Cross rotors, magazine bodies and feed lips? Thanks!
We did a video on this, and we actually found that hot soapy water works best! Check out the video here: ruclips.net/video/b2puh9Qe-AQ/видео.html
Cheers Paul!
Lost me on getting the right tension on the spring. Don't understand the markings. I got to the part where it bottomed out, and then I just twisted a couple times before putting it back in.
These magazine's need practice to put together right, pay attention when you take them apart . Took me four tries to get it set up right
I had to adjust the tension to basically 3/4 of a turn or else it wouldn't feed smooth in my rifle. It was brand new too. This rifles been so finicky I almost think it's a lemon
Please make a 17hmr/22mag one
I found this a wee bit tricky at first, mainly getting the spring to engage the fixed end nut, but by the 5th mag it was working like a champ
This video showing the use of the spring pusher to get better access to put on the nut looks better

This doesn't work at all! The rod seems too long to me and i think this tool ruined the spring!
It is possible to damage the spring when reassembling your mags, whether this tool is involved or not. Make sure you follow all instructions carefully to avoid that.
Yes. It ruined the spring on mine as well. Don't use the rod.
