Fun fact outside BTS and Stage, Hobi is introvert now days he is trying to show us some other sides of him, but he is still careful on what he puts out to protect him and his family, he can't even take a walk with his Sister without people writing and harassing him about his private Life. The first time we saw him crack was in the Burn the Stage Movie, Mama 2018 and the glimpse he shared on his mixtape, when u watch in the soop you see more sides of him. He is actually the scariest of the Members when he is mad, he also loves to curse and shit talk but won't do it on his Music, RM said he is someone that is really hard to read and see through, and he is actually the one keeping the team together behind the scenes.
Hobi is very positive and you can see it even with his family members who seem to be similar. 💜 But he has spoken several times about how it’s part of his “character,” as a member. They all have a character that is separate from their off-cam/off-stage persona. Hobi has talked about feeling obligated to continue to serve as the energizer bunny for the group, and feeling like he shouldn’t show his deeper layers (besides in lyrics). Psychologically he’s one of the most complex members because of we really only see his surface level by his own preference. There is definitely footage of him in darker or perhaps just more realistic moments. I’m not writing this to be a party pooper at all, just to urge people to be wary of the reality that they do often act differently on camera because it’s part of their job. As you dive deeper into their content you’ll see the beautiful layers of all of them, and as responsible consumers of BTS I think it’s important to pay attention to what’s just part of the job, what’s their raw and vulnerable emotions and what’s frankly a bit sinister, especially when it comes to Hybe/BigHit and their nearly inhuman expectations for the guys. I’m not going to give details but, I’ll say just be wary of accepting just surface level BTS as their truth. This is the case for much of K-POP; it’s a dark dark industry that produces lots of happiness and Hybe is VERY good at pretending they’re an exception to the industry’s antics. We should do all we can to support the guys directly, because there’s lots of evidence that Hybe doesn’t always have their best interest as individuals in mind. And I’m totally okay to receive hate for this comment, because I wouldn’t share controversial topics without evidence and lots of critical thinking. 💜
