Lovie says, keep somthing in its original state , you can always melt it , but you cant get it back ..... advice from Lovie hahahah hope your well buddy .....
@@ScroogeMcDuckn I’m well thanks brother , hope your well , I’ll keep the advice on my thoughts 👍 I do have other types of silver plated items I can run through reverse electroplating if I decide keep those in there original state , we will see 🤔😂
@@ScrappingScotland if they are Stirling silver I would leave them as they are , you’ll get at least the silver spot price for the silver content , if you melt them it will be harder to sell as you loose the hallmarks , don’t melt them down unless your going to refine them ,👍

Yeah I'd give them all to Sollers. She loves that kind of thing. I sent her a big brass stag that I had. She'll treasure that stuff.

I've got loads of old antique silver cutlery but i wouldn't melt it down, i don't think.
