Probably the best content for listening practice. This channel deserves some kind of award in terms of educational helpfulness. Thank you!
Wow, thank you, Satoichi!!! That really motivates us to keep it up!
We give them award for hlping ppl without rewards
Absolutely!
I totally agree! It's so helpful!
Can't agree more! 🇷🇺
This is EXACTLY what us learners need. Not just repetitions of words or quizzes to guess the word, but to have someone slowly read a story out with both the characters and pinyin. I can even practice some speaking for my tones with this. And the fact that the translations are optional is awesome. Thank you so much for this.
Also, the fact that you point or try to express the meaning of the words with your hand/yourself is great.
This is exactly what us Mandarin learners need. Keep making more.
Glad to hear that, Jonathan! We will try to keep it up!
but it's so slow
@@user-ht6pt3vb7y you can speed it up you know
Its true
This method of teaching a foreign language is very appreciated. It's similar to how we taught our children when they started to talk. Xiexie Laoshi!
me: *learning japanese*
this gets recommended
me: * listening carefully* interesting.
same.. i was studying hiragana peacefully...
for some reason, i found myself listening to some chinese mandarin and OH BOIII....
_IT LOOKS DUCKIN HAAAARD!_
Same here :D
@@darija.studio only in text really as a lot of Japanese is based off the Chinese alphabet and so it remains some meaning but despite them having some similar characters, they are pronounced completely differently. That and the fact that Japanese adds a lot of really unnecessary grammar makes it next to incomprehensible to a native Chinese speaker I think but if it's text only, maybe they can understand each other mutually
@@darija.studio Nah, the grammar is too different, plus Japanese also has hiragana and katakana which are both different from Chinese characters and a native Chinese speaker who has not learned Japanese wouldn't understand anything other than some random kanji. Plus Japanese kanji's meanings differ from Chinese sometimes and are used differently. So there are similarities, but neither of them could understand the other completely if they haven't studied the other language
Edit: Also I think this is kinda too obvious but Japanese is also pronounced differently. For example 猫 mao, a cat, is pronounced as neko in Japanese
Hiragana and Katakana are also of Chinese origins, they are basically cursive Chinese.
Chinese native speakers can read some stuff in Japanese and vice versa, but written content.
In the past, Korean, Japanese and the Vietnamese all could write and read Chinese.
As a polyglot who’s studied over 4 years of languages and over 30 methods, and this is by far the best comprehensible input I have ever seen. Hopefully you all can make this type of content for other languages, or maybe an app, because you guys’ content is SUPER helpful!! :)
IMPORTANT: Please note there is a mistake in the pinyin transcription and in 2:50 场 should be "chang3" and not "chang2".
_Study hints:_
1. Subtitles of *translation* in multiple languages can be turned on/off at the video settings.
2. Playback *speed* can also be adjusted at your convenience.
Hope you enjoy this little story! 加油!
Hi, I want to translate this to arabic how I can do that
Thanks
Thank you very much!
Thanks for your interest. At the moment we can only offer English and Spanish translation, but we take all your suggestions into account for the future.
非常感谢 you are so awesome!
谢谢你的故事
now THATS my kinda pace. Wish my friends would learn to talk that slowly when they want to tell me a story...
Actually, even with my level of chinese (i studying now in chinese university) i use it for background to remember words and remember simple sentences, because sometimes i overcomplicate my sentences. Thank you for your work.
Wow, this was exactly the type of thing I was looking for. I hope you will do a lot more videos in this format, slowly introducing new characters along the way. 非常感谢
Thanks a lot, Sam! More to come!
I agreee too
Wow! I've been studying Chinese for so long but this is the first time that I have bumped into lessons with an interesting content like this. It's as if it was my own story, my own routine. Thank you so kindly. You're a great teacher!
If you are using the textbook Integrated Chinese, the content in this video is appropriate for the learners that have finished the first two volumes (4 in total). Mandarin-teacher approved. 大家,加油!
According to Dr.Stephen Krashen and his theory of input. This is the best way to acquire language! I wanna thank you for a hundred times over! Lots and lots of love from Vietnam. Please make more videos like this...
因为我讨厌有生病,所以我注意我的身体。 穿得暖,吃多蔬菜和水果,睡得够,都非常重要。
我最近打了第三一秒。 刚好没有发烧,只有一点儿头疼,手臂很疼,也觉得有点儿累。 希望你也注意身体,戴口罩,吃得健康 💜
希望你早日康复。也祝你新年快乐,身体健康。
So far the best learning method for those beginners like me. Thumbs up to this kind teacher to spend her time to help people like me who wants to learn mandarin so bad...👌
Thumbs up if you're feeling good because you understood most of it
These videos are literally so perfect for learning Mandarin. Thank you guys.
i found this at the perfect time! I´m taking my second chinese exam tomorrow and this is just perfect
謝謝老師。
Great video. There is actually a storyline which we can relate to our own daily experience. The teacher also speaks at a moderate pace right from beginning to end so I can learn how she introduces and concludes the lesson before delving into the storyline. Thanks for the wonderful effort.
will definitely recommend you to other learners. this is the type of content that can be the bridge to stuff like Peppa Pig
This is SO helpful for me and i'm pretty sure other Mandarin learners agree. This listening content is amazing and I like the format with the pictures and how you can roughly work out new vocab due to context. Please keep making them! They really help :) Thank you.
谢谢你的课程!
Every language needs this type of video!
I am learning Mandarin on my own. This is such an excellent resource! Thank you so much!!!

Спасибо, очень интересно и познавательно. Хорошо что есть английские субтитры.
Спасибо,это лучшее для понимания речи на слух.
This is so simple yet so perfect. There is so much audio that has English subtitles, English and character subtitles, Pinyin and character subtitiles, but never ALL THREE. Keep these coming! Much respect. I would literally pay for this content and so subscribing is a no brainer.
谢谢,继续帮我们学习中文。这个听力视频很有意思啦。

This is amazing! Thank you for the effort you’ve put into creating such a wonderful video for us Chinese enthusiasts. I love that you’ve categorized them into different levels. I am trying to listen to one lesson throughout the week and once I’ve mastered it move on to the next. I feel extremely positive about starting your intermediate lessons! 很多謝!
I'm so glad RUclips recommended this to me. Thank you for making such videos. May God Bless you.
Thank you so much! I like that you put together the syllables that makes up a word. Some separate it by syllable, so it takes a while to register that together they are actually a very common word.
These slow conversations are so useful. Thank you so much
This is exactly what I was looking for to learn Mandarin. Thank you. Please keep making videos.

Thank you! This is a very good video to start understanding Chinese speakers.
谢谢!very useful thing.Why didn't it appear a little earlier in my recommendations,eh..
Thank you mandarin Click very much for your excellent video lesson !
谢谢!
I like how you teach. Thank you.
Thanks a lot for your encouragement!
Another excellent video! With Chinese spoken at this speed, students can practice 'echoing' the teacher, i.e., repeating the phrases immediately after they are spoken. This technique reinforces the speech pattern and also provides immediate tone feedback to the student.
It also helps with associating chinese characters with sounds , it's nice to know the character is pronounce ni hao , but its better to remember the chinese character if one day you plan on reading writing a little chinese
很好谢谢老师!
Happy to find your channel! 谢谢老师!
I'm so happy I started to see things clicked for me
