As a fan of those shows, I personally thought the musical was amazing. I know not everyone will like it, but I thought it was sweet of them to do that for us.

I genuinely don't get where the hate comes from for the vocals in the musical. Like- I got chills during Guiding Light and your guys' harmonies in I want It All are so heavenly. Yes, I love TSAMS and TLAES as much as the next fan but come on, guys. Don't bring people up by dragging others down. Not cool.
A couple of people apparently thought their voices sounded too awkward or something like that.
Truthfully, I didn’t care for most of the singing in the musical mostly because the vocals sounded off. Which to be fair, it isn’t easy to do a singing voice for a character you’re voice acting, this is the reason why a character will almost always have two VAs. One does the speaking voice and someone else will do the singing, it can also help to avoid straining and damaging one’s voice.
Of course, I am also a choir kid and grew up in a family of choir kids (including my parents) so I know a thing or two about singing (but I’m not claiming to be an expert). The main reason I didn’t like most of the voices was because they were all singing in an unnatural sounding way? Something you’re taught is that your singing voice shouldn’t sound like your speaking voice, if it does then you’re likely singing incorrectly and could end up hurting your voice. A lot of the singers sounded exactly like their characters when singing.
It also doesn’t help that they’re not singing in their natural pitch, basically they end up singing higher or lower than what is comfortable for them.
Kat sounded the best (in my opinion) because Earth’s voice isn’t that much different from her actual voice, so when she sang she wasn’t straining her voice much resulting in her voice to sound more natural.
I didn’t care for the singing in the Christmas musical, but I’m sure everyone did their best and considering how difficult it can be to sing well while also voicing a character they did what they could and I can respect that.

17:30 - Stuff like that makes me so mad. As much as I like the SAMS, LAES, and MGFS fans, they can be so damn disrespectful and rude to the rest of the TSBS crew at times. The Christmas Musical was *phenomenal* and it's a testament to how much love and care (and work) you guys pour into this channel.

Yeah I'm a SAMS/LAES fan and there's a small subgroup of really pretentious fans who are loud about their opinions. Even worse is when they have headcanons they treat like canon and get mad when others disagree. They also straight up bother the VAs at times about stupid fandom stuff, it's so embarrassing.

When I first heard Roxy read that, I kinda took it as if they just meant "since the different clips were cut to just show characters like Sun, Moon, Earth, and Lunar, that the audio may sound choppy because it's basically hopping around", but if they did actually mean it in a rude way, then that's very messed up. They all did their best (and they all honestly did an awesome job and they all slayed) so basically just saying it sounded terrible (if that was how they intended it) is just really mean and pretty uncalled for in my opinion.
But yeah you all did amazing!!! Don't let anyone tell u otherwise!!!

I was meaning that the editing was gonna make the video sound bad cause the clips weren’t gonna be able to flow together smoothly, I would never speak ill about the VA’s I actualy adore them all and they all did a great job in the musical, I was only talking about my bad editing skills that’s all 😢 hugs?

As for the second clip that they saw basically, character named blood moon, attacked and broke earth, so lunar found out when he came back from training for his powers, and he fought him off by the time he was done, he overpowered and blacked out- which is why earth has a new body

@@dr_iceky_04 I know! It was cute! Thankfully Lunar wouldn’t have to explain love to them as they have stated they are mostly emotionless. So I’m not sure if they would understand the concept and the meaning of it if they were told. They believed it was a friend hang out session so that took a lot of pressure off all of them. Remember Lunar doesn’t know his sexuality yet but I’m sure he wouldn’t want to ruin the companionship he has with Pollux and Castor.

Earth was attacked by Bloodmoon out of revenge for attack HIM who broke Lunar's arm one time. And as you can see here, Lunar found Earth in such a state and sent Bloodmoon packing in fear.
