Please cover more flooding situations. The destruction of water from flash flooding has taken so many lives unnecessarily. Yes, people, some people, do not understand the warning of flash flooding. In many rural mountain areas there is not any way to warn, as there are sirens for tornado's. I believe there should be a siren to activate in rural mountain towns for flash flooding. I believe that the USGS , U.S Army Corps of Engineers, and the States need more water gages on every minor to major creek and river and monitors. Then an alarm can be activated according, beginning with the local/rural fire stations alarms. What do you think Reed???? Thank you for the videos. Stay Safe!
I agree Missy! We need a denser network of reporting stations for flooding - not just mountain flash floods but storm surges and all aspects of flooding. Live streaming sensors like the Surginators to fill the gaps. I’ll continue to chase these floods. Stay safe out there
Way to go Reed, it's not always about "tornadoes", meteorologists report on every storm and what effects the storm could bring, like FLOODING...and sinkholes.
Excellent footage. Thank you for coming to NYS and the suburbs of Westchester County. I’m in Orange County, NY and appreciate you being here. Please come back for a good snow storm.
Dear brothers, I am from India I have a question for my brothers living in USA tornado alley area. Why people there make wood houses? Why no one makes steel reinforced concrete and brick houses like we do here in india. I am pretty sure solid steel reinforced concrete houses will withstand even an f5 tornado. Love and blessings to all of you.
Wow he is near White Plains! I grew up in No. Westchester County, lived in White Plains and Chappaqua, How cool and unexpected would it be to be in friggin Yonkers and look up and see Reed reporting on the side of the road!!! : )
We were southbound on Amtrak just north of NYC at that same time. It was nuts. Tracks were filling up with water and power to the train was knocked out for a few minutes.
I live on Long Island in Nassau county…..we don’t always get flooding like that here, unless it’s in Freeport which the south part of Freeport is surrounding by the bay which goes to Jones Beach. Out in Suffolk county especially towards the Montauk and even the north shore….they get lots of storms and floods.
Hey Reed Timer. I commended you for doing a livestream and videos in the worst weather conditions and while chasing a storm even when there is severe interference while live-streaming.
Omg! Be careful! We need you to be safe we’ll reporting! You are the best! I’m not sure why they did not close that road? Our city does this in the underpasses when we get 40mm or more. People know this but still drive under them and get trapped.
I feel for those folks. We see that type of flash flooding almost every year here in Kansas City. The years it doesn't happen is actually bad news because it means it's going to be a bad drought year. And it is. it also usually means that late August to late September, near constant rain, too late to help with growing crops, and instead destroying what did manage to grow.
Reed, I use to live in Yonkers NY. There are a few cities between Yonkers and White Plains. So where exactly Was this footage from. I don't recognize the street.
We see rain like this sometimes in the PNW we flooded hard this year cause of all the snow and rain.. most places from the upper part of Washington to parts of Oregon were land locked in place
This reminds me of the time we had a major storm land directly and a friend called me and asked me how we were doing. I said fine so far Jim Cantore is not in my front yard yet. Now days if it happens again I will be looking for Reed in my front yard filming. (How do you know you are weather screwed -> Reed is filming in your town/yard)
This is a couple hours from me. I live on shoreline connecticut and we only got hit w some drizzles and light thunder. Preparing for hurricane season though. KOC
Dude I hate this weather. It’s been consistently over 100 degrees and only a couple little pop up cells came near me and gave a tiny dribble. But then Canada got more supercells you could count in one day and New Mexico had a flash flood warning. Why do all the storms miss me? We need rain.

You are right! I should have been there when that sink hole cut loose
@@catwoman2596 Do we have severe storm transmitted diseases now? SSTDs!!!
@@basileusofstupidonia6462 flooding causes city septic to backflow into homes...like what happened in NY.
@@catwoman2596 You're right, I forgot about that being a thing that happens. I'm an idiot, sorry.

That undercover officer thought you needed help at first lol
Somewhere, around that street, is a clogged drain! Where’s the drain guy? He’ll get that flowing real quick 👌
O wow beautiful weather heavy rain ☔☔☔🌧️🌧️🌧️ I love rains ❤️💓💕💞
Reed! You are a Champion!!!
Thank you for covering the East coast unlike other weather people telling us to just drink tea.

Hey Reed Timer. I commended you for doing a livestream and videos in the worst weather conditions and while chasing a storm even when there is severe interference while live-streaming.
An hour south of here and we have got hardly any rain this summer. Everything is dry. Send it south to Central Jersey.
Send it to oklahoma
I wish that rain was here in UK
I can't imagine. All I can say is take care.
Just like Conshohocken PA last year, but that was a result of Hurricane Aida, this was DEFINITELY a drain issue.
Texas 107 today
We could use some rain minus sewage ..yall be safe
Omg! Be careful! We need you to be safe we’ll reporting! You are the best! I’m not sure why they did not close that road? Our city does this in the underpasses when we get 40mm or more. People know this but still drive under them and get trapped.
Damn. Now thats flooding looks like they need a better drainage system
I watch Post10, this is due to either clogs or collapsed drains.
Or taxes not going to what they should be.. my hometown
I was about to ask where is Post 10 when you need him the most. Haha 😄
@@kelsocox2067 He would of cleared this in no time! LOL

I’m 35 minutes away and had very little rain! Incredible what a difference!

Yes, Drone footage!
Awesome content. I miss my hometown nyc. The flash floods aren’t constant but when they happen it gets crazy. Especially if you’re in the subway.
Yes an under city flash flood!
I go to an appointment and this is what happens while I'm gone! Stay safe Reed and All.
Where are you headed next, Reed?
Here in S. Ontario we have good chance for severe weather tomorrow, Wednesday July 20.
Hi Reed Timmer how are you doing today. Is the flood still going on
human sacrifice dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!
Great footage!
And the issue with water flowing downhill... it has to go somewhere at the bottom of the hill.
Be careful Reed and Stay safe everyone 😳
Yikes that whirlpool at 8:05 minutes is unnerving...😮
Bergen County was hammered today as well southern Rockland County
I was up storm chasing in Baltimore it was flooded exactly like that but it’s not in the same place big fan

Yo that's my fedex delivery
Well I'm glad the streets will be clean for at least a week now
Wow now that was fast as hell.
And it’s still raining!!!!
That's not good.
I've never understood why New Yorkers hit their horns so often.
Wooo
Is there some sort of pump in the water drain? What kind of pressure would make that water shoot out of the ground like that?
The black Taurus at 24 seconds is an unmarked police car
Nice catch , watch out for sinkholes in the making in those situations.😎👊
OMG...that is more dangerous than tornado chasing Reed! We got much needed 1.60" here north east of Leamington Ontario. Windsor airport only got 0.50"
Hey Reed while your in NY come upstate to the Albany area our weather up here is very unpredictable in the capital region
Confirmed tornado in Addison County, Vermont yesterday.
I love 💕 monsoon
Now that's a fountain

From sabah the land below the wind soul fly

Does anyone else realize they're standing in raw sewage. He said raw sewage was the case but "it smells like sewage" sooo...nevermind

Hi reed can you give me tips for when I become a storm chaser
With they'd share that rain. Hasn't rained at my house in almost 2 months.
Dude I hate this weather. It’s been consistently over 100 degrees and only a couple little pop up cells came near me and gave a tiny dribble. But then Canada got more supercells you could count in one day and New Mexico had a flash flood warning. Why do all the storms miss me? We need rain.
And my dad have to drive through a flood.
