I’m kinda stuck between the 4 and 5mm. Both would be 14k 22 inch. But I love them both! Money isn’t an issue just can’t decide which thickness I want. There’s something about a thinner subtle chain that’s so elegant. Super thick looks tacky and trying to be a certain way to me.

If $$$ is no issue just go with em' both! Lol. A good way to do it if you're unsure is checkout Luke Zions Silver chains, they're dope AF and you can see what sizes work for you by rocking a nice silver chain at a great price. I paid like 125$ for my 4.5mm DC Sterling rope and it's the chain that made me realize a 6 is way too much for me personally. Even a 5 is stretching it IMO, but I wanna flex type piece!

I also prefer the look of 14-karat gold and think it looks better on lighter skin tones. It also has a vivid sparkle that higher karats don't seem to have. Jewelry is more about the appearance for me rather than the value, so I don't see the point in investing in anything over 14-karat gold if that's what looks good. People who purchase gold as a financial investment should just buy 24-karat bullion because jewelry is more of an aesthetic fashion thing.

@@timothy1219 I haven’t really noticed a difference in the ropes but do think based on my own experience that the JACOJE quality has been better not just in the shine or finish but the overall construction and flexibility especially when it comes to the ropes, the standard of quality that JACOJE demands is higher even though other distributors can access the same manufacture there is clearly a premium product available and some distributors may not want the premium product to increase profit margins
Honestly even 2mm you can look really nice with but even if solid it becomes thinner which means easier to break. I think 3mm+ you’d never have a break. But 2mm maybe
I think 3.5 is a very good size if you're gonna layer. I've never worn a 3.5 by itself so I can't speak on that, but I had a 4.5 rope layered with a 3.5 Franco and it was gorgeous
Yeah Jacoje is starting to slip up. He used to get stuff sent out right away now that he has a following he just sits on your order for about two day’s. So total day’s before it arrived five day’s. And that’s with the two day shipping that he forces you to get. Plus he’s always out of chains for a few months.

Not to diss this Hawaiian gold company but when I was stationed in Hawaii (Hickam AFB) a number of years ago there were gold sales carts on Waikiki that sold gold by the inch. They had rolls of various designs for sale that way. The problem was that the HPD discovered that some unscrupulous dealers were selling under-carated gold from their carts. That is for example what they were selling as 14kt when checked out turned out to be something like 12kt or 13kt. You always have to be careful buying gold because there are so many ways the bad actors can scam you!
