- In this weeks episode I was kindly invited out fishing by Thames community constable Gareth for a days charter fishing with a crew of young locals. Were making the short trip to Coromandel where we will be jumping on board local charter Mussel Barge Snapper Safari. We had an epic day out on the water with lots of great fish landed by all and finished off the adventure with a filleting session a bit of touch rugby and a good old kiwi BBQ. Thankyou to all of the people involved on organizing this event and a special thankyou to Gareth for inviting me along. Most of all it was great to meet all of you young Champions. Tight Lines

It's a catch IRT 200 mate fantastic little reel. It's on a catch rod too but I can't remember the model off the top of my head
TUMEKE 🤙
🤙
U can't fillet Carter 😂😂
Interested to know your view on them encouraging or near demanding everyone to take their limit ?
That wasn't really my experience. I will say most people that book Charters go out on charter once or twice a year and if they harvest their limit on those trips and feed it to their friends and families I think its perfectly acceptable. I fish for food and it's a pleasure to provide fresh fish for people who otherwise can't get it or cant afford it at $50kg
@@MuddyFeet I 100% agree with you..but I’m talking more about the charter itself. Have been on those ones and actually got yelled at for not filling our bin. Was with brother and mum and we had 15 between us and thought that was more than enough, didn’t expect it to be frowned upon was all…
@@MrColby2244 oh that's a shame mate. Should always be free to keep or release whatever fish you choose 🙂 cheers mate a d tight lines
