Great video. Please work on taking down those walls with your family. It seems they didn’t react badly to you being gay. I spent years hiding and avoiding my family because I was uncomfortable with who I was and was afraid of it being awkward. I came out but never really invited them into my life fully. I regret that. And while it’s gotten better over time, I wish I had been more active making them a part of my life, introducing them to boyfriends and being more open and honest with them about my day to day life. Things were always so compartmentalized. Family over here and gay life over there. I was just scared. Family and friends are so important if we’re fortunate enough to have them around.
