Negan killed Glenn at the start of Season 7. He was the villain right through Seasons 7 and 8. In Season 9 he was locked away in a cell for years. Maggie was initially pissed he was being kept alive but came around once she visited Negan and saw that he was basically suffering and wishing for death. Maggie then left the group and was gone from the show because the actress had other things going on. In Season 10, Negan was released by Carol and tasked with taking out their enemy for that season. Negan was successful and was granted his freedom. Maggie returned at the end of the season and was pissed that Negan was out and about. So yes, Season 11 is the first time the two have been on the same side and had to cooperate. Until this episode it seemed like Negan was only helping out of his own self interest. To secure his freedom in Season 10, and to convince Maggie not to kill him in Season 11. But a few episodes before this one, Negan ended up in a similar situation, his pregnant wife facing execution. This was the first time he seemed genuinely remorseful for doing it.

8:09 depends on what you consider creepy honestly. there’s a couple episodes in season 9-11 that really up the fear factor. Season 11 especially as we see an episode focusing around a couple of our survivors being lured to and trapped in a house with feral humans. There’s a lot more horror film techniques put to use than usual and they take full advantage of one of the characters (and actors) being deaf to up really hammer home some scary ass sequences.
"Lori Survived?!?!??!?!" If someone saw the first season they def would know lori wouldnt last more than 2-3 seasons. The one time lori left to find rick she nearly killed herself.
You asked, "How lost do I feel on a scale of 1 to 10?" Dude, "Lost" was a totally different show. :P So, I have a question along the whole Zombie genre of films. Several years ago, there was a zombie movie about this young zombie dude who resides in a passenger jet parked at an abandoned airport. He sees a cute non zombified girl and she really catches his zombie eye. He falls in love with her and that causes his dead and putrid heart to beat again and reverses the zombie process. He teaches other zombies how to love and, boom, you have a large segment of the zombie population who become human again with some who just can't make the complete transition and the skeleton zombies whom there is no hope for. What was the name of that movie? I know it was a wee bit corny but I just can't remember the name of it.
Seasons 7 and 8 aren't so bad when you watch the episodes back to back as apposed to weekly. It's worth getting through though because 9-11 are so good. Although I will admit, the first half of season 11 drags a bit but its still great nonetheless.
Problems with 7-11 is they stretch and bloat them to the max when they easily could have shortened them to one season per plot. The whole story around Negan could have easily been one season instead of two same thing with the Whispers And The Commonwealth. Actually I'll go ahead and say that for the whole entire show after season 1. The Walking Dead could have easily been fit into eight seasons and it honestly would have fared better for it in the long run. Because when you have a show as long and as boring as The Walking Dead you end up having people that either don't want to finish it or newcomers not even going to give it a chance
So @MjcMatthew, Negan kills Glenn in season 7 and Maggie goes to another group so they dont see each other, but Negan is allowed to be a citizen of alexandira(their civilization) after he helped kill a villian. So they have been having to work with each other all of this last season.

i checked for my self and twd is not on it. is there a disney++ thats has fucked up shows like this that i dont know about?
@@potatochip5098 I looked it up, and I guess they have the entire TWD series on the UK Disney+
So the first episode takes place at the ending months of 2010 and the last episode before the 1 year timejump takes place 2021 so 11 years after the first episode in their year universe
When bro said laurie was alive💀💀
The premise of this series is actually genius
Absolutely loved this react and commentary to my favorite show!
'i can't believe lori survived this long'💀
Loved your reactions, and how wrong you got somethings. For example, Luke (who died in the 1st couple of minutes) and the woman who was killed 1st, you calling them brother and sister when they were actually couple was, lol.
How you get Gabriel on point though 😂
A-Dog, B-Dog, C-Dog, D-Dog... T-DOG! :D
I’m nearly on season 8 can’t wait to watch it
"Lori Survived?!?!??!?!" If someone saw the first season they def would know lori wouldnt last more than 2-3 seasons. The one time lori left to find rick she nearly killed herself.
You asked, "How lost do I feel on a scale of 1 to 10?" Dude, "Lost" was a totally different show. :P
So, I have a question along the whole Zombie genre of films.
"Warm bodies". In Brazil (my country) the film was called "Meu Namorado é um Zumbi". I Hope This information is enough for you to find the film
@@arthurkimura4442 Your information was very helpful. Thank you!
“they found him in a church” no they found him on a rock in the middle of the woods
This has made my day better!! Thank you Matt!
Rolling into the Finale after watching the first episode be like:
“Where is everybody?”
I stopped watching after like season 7 but I am so excited for this
You should be xD
@@jonttuz. Lol okay?
"They were brother and sister"
Esh... that's awkward 😂
man you need to watch all the seasons theyre amazing.
also when Judith said mom she was talking about michonne and not lori, lori died during childbirth with Judith
Omg! 🤣 you called Aaron, Justin Timberlake! 🤣 I'm ded. Lol
There's 177 episodes in twd
The show is always good. Constantly changes identity during some seasons but a show like this needs that
Matt you should watch the maze runner trilogy
You read my mind! As soon as im done with hunger games that's what im doing :)
@@mjcmatthew I frickin love you man ❤
@@Entity_851 it's one of most underrated film trilogies ever
Negan killed Glen in Season 7 episode 1 then apologized truly in Season 11 episode 24
lori is not alive...
Fun fact the reason the bed was against Rick's room is cuz shane barricaded his room with it so the army wouldn't kill Rick
Do 1st episode of breaking bad' and the last
It’s the fact that you saw when he disappeared idk it was hilarious too me 😂😂curiosity caught up
There’s actually 177 episodes of TWD😂
"I see Lori as a season 5 season 6 type character" *Lori dies as a season 3 character
I bet you pour milk before cereal.
And then I go get the bowl
@@mjcmatthew You're so funny!
So @MjcMatthew, Negan kills Glenn in season 7 and Maggie goes to another group so they dont see each other, but Negan is allowed to be a citizen of alexandira(their civilization) after he helped kill a villian. So they have been having to work with each other all of this last season.
Watch first and last of cobra Kai next
Or first two and last two
People have said this a lot! Consider it done
he lasted that long in the coma because there was a couple staying after the walkers started that helped everyone
bro you ruined a fantastic show for yourself for content
Carol... Innocent... For all those die hard fans, we know that is not true
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE AS AARON.... bro
They did find Gabbie in a church, well done
"Daryl's daughter." Close, he took care of her like his own, because she's Ricks- Well kinda, and yeah, so yeah 2nd try you got it.
THE HOSPITAL BED PARRALEL. YEAH
Forgiveness? From someone as complicated as Maggie, yes and no... mainly no.
This guy just said... "Are those two a thing?" Are Eugene and Rosita a thing. I can't even count how many times Rosita rejected Eugene bro. But ahh yes a divorced couple, we can go with that
Definitely, Ezekiel does speak like he is from medieval or smt.
Pamila = karen. hilarious
Nah Carol and Daryl are just besties
"CARL DIED...." Yes sadly...
No way bro just went thro whole alphabet to figure out T-dog, lol
Loved this, so funny
This show started so well but it was boring AF after a few seasons
I loved it the whole way through IMO
