Love seeing the HW97, takes practise and patience to be "rat head" accurate with a powerful springer! Beautifully made guns. Thanks again for another great video, I'm jealous, sat here with a laptop in my hand instead of an air rifle. Jack looked like he was enjoying the scents floating in the air, too.Thank You sir!

Great video Simon and nice to see a springer being used. Lovely to see Jack out and about again and congratulations on the 40k subs, well deserved in my opinion 👍
Excellent as always, and you deserve all the subs you have and more IMO. l' Jack is just doing what old dogs do LOL. I was talking to my neighbor last night. He has a black lab that looks and is built just about identical to Jack. He is now a little over 10 years old. he is a duck hunting dog, and while he still loves to play fetch, he has slowed and his interests seem to be of a different sort than a few years back. He's a great dog like Jack. They earned their golden years.👍👍
It is great to see Jack back out with you again. Seeing the springer in action is great, an old guy like myself didn't have any PCP or night vision back in the day, though I would have loved it. Cheers from Texas. Will be seeing you on the next video.
Congrats on the subs, well earned and well deserved. Always thing's to learn from your uploads, and always good to see your wing man. Also, was nice to hear the twang of the old springer, still does the job!. Looking forward to next upload 😀
Nice to see your mate back in the saddle. This one reminded me of my days as a boy shooting rats in my gramps barn with a Daisy lever action 😄 There was something satisfying about stalking and shooting rats. I’ve enjoyed airguns ever since, and the new PCPs are a blast. You can do so much with them now. Congrats on reaching 40k 🍻

As always Simon, another great video. The last springer I owned was a Weihrauch but I can't remember the model number. I gave it to my eldest daughter's partner Peter and replaced it with a Theoben Taunus gas ram rifle, that tells you how long ago it was, I do still have it. Peter who was with my daughter for twenty years died suddenly in the bathroom at their home in 2013. It was an extremely stressful time for our family. My first air rifle as a boy I believe was an Original which I kept hidden from my father in the shed. I later sold it to another boy and got into trouble over it. I had to go to court because I had sold it to the boy who was by law too young to own an air rifle. I was fined by the court.
Blooming heck ye i too hid my first air rifle in a old barn when i was around 14 and virtually every night after school i would go out with it shooting and my mother didn't know as she just hated guns and the thought of me shooting one was like to dangerous lol, then years down the line i have virtually lived and breathed it every day of my life lol. And ye i am sorry to hear about your son in law it must have been terrible my friend.
@@simon6ppc246 I too lived and breathed shooting Simon, after the first air guns (I had one or two pistols as well) I had a couple of 12 bore shotguns but gave them up at some stage and went back to air rifles. Do you remember an air rifle hunter named John Darling? he wrote books and articles in the airgun magazines. He was born in 1946 the same year as me but sadly died of cancer in 2004. I was in WH. Smith's on one occasion and picked up an airgun magazine and read one of his articles about rabbit hunting with air rifles, soon after that I bought the Weihrauch plus a metal knock down rabbit which had a long cord attached for pulling the Rabbit back up again. I practiced and practiced on that metal rabbit until I could knock it over almost every time and then went Hunting. I bagged more rabbits with the air rifle than with the shotguns simply because air rifles don't have a loud bang. After giving Peter the Weihrauch and buying the Theoben Taunus I progressed to PCP air rifles. I still own three but haven't been hunting for possibly eight years. I own a Falcon, I can't remember the model number, a BSA Superten and a Theoben Rapid 17. My main two shoots were adjoining farms of 660 acres and 200 acres on very hilly countryside in East Sussex but as I got older it became harder going so I didn't go as often. Then from October 2017 until March 2020 I was dealing with cancer, I had five operations in three different hospitals during that period but at this moment in time I'm a cancer survivor.
Hi Simon. So nice you posted a video with a spring airgun!! I only shoot with gasram or spring airguns. No pcp airgun for me. again thanks for posting.

Yo Simon. Just been out with my now detuned 97k sub 12fp.made a load of delrin bits on the lathe. Polished everything and installed with about 1inch of preload. My god I really can't believe the difference difference. Started pushing pellet 5mm into barrel, made a thumb pellet pusher. The grouping has got tighter, dunno if you're tried it. Anyway thanks for this 97k video. Top job. Ps. Love the old fella,.

Congrats on the subs Simon - you deserve it.

Rat porteur de toutes les maladies mettre des gants
This brought back some memories for me as a shooter in the 80's. I hade a Webley Tracker .22 with the gas ram instead of the spring. Good times!
Ye i remember the Tracker with its very small barrel i can see it now baldy
@@simon6ppc246 Not to forget the side lever finger guillotine when you tried to silence the safety click click 😂😂
