    How would you print a recess for a 6mm nut. It always seems to go to furthest 2 points as apposed to across flats

    Hi aron, did you try circle or Polygone, radius whatever you want, enter and then change the nummer of Segments by typing 20s or another nummer followed by s and then hit enter. give it a try.

    For some reason, when clicking on a newly creates polygon face, I do not see the RADIUS/SEGMENTS/PERIMETER information in the entity info.
    Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

    Hi, how do you recreate a Face that I deleted 🤦🏼‍♀️

    • @douglasmichel6361
      @douglasmichel6361 3 года назад +2

      With the line tool active, usually redrawing over any line Segment will do it. If it was the last thing you did, undo with either go back arrow tool or control/cmd Z.

      Thank, very useful tip! Didn't know about inside and outside circles! How do you create a polygon with n sides of given length?

      @@UmbertoCocca JFYI, they are called Inscribed and Circumscribed .

      @@UmbertoCocca to answer part two of your question, I found this (not my quote) but looks to be correct.
      Let's assume you want to draw an N-sided polygon of radius r, centred at (0,0). Then the n vertices are given by:
      x[n] = r * cos(2*pi*n/N)
      y[n] = r * sin(2*pi*n/N)
      where 0
