Hello mort! Stopping by to say hello! Love haunted houses. I was extremely close to my papa and I lost him almost 2 years ago. I live at my grandparents so I’m surrounded by him and his stuff every day. He smoked black and milds an got lung cancer. Best man on earth. Retired trucker and mechanic. Just listening to this now I've been overly tired this past week and even when i get 12 to 15 hours of sleep due to my depression i still can't stay awake for more than an hour or 2 then i cant keep my eyes open no matter how hard i try. I really pray for your depression to dissipate. I've struggled with severe severe severe depression much like yours. I promise though it'll get so much better if you can find the right antidepressant. Just keep pushing forward and never give up!

In Colorado we have a few haunted hotels, there's The Stanley that was the inspiration for Stephen King's The Shining, The Victor Hotel in Victor Colorado, & even Downtown Denver's The Brown Palace is said to host some ghosts. All of the hotels mentioned are also rated at 4 stars, I know that ordinarily (i.e. not during a pandemic,) the Brown Place also has a killer (sorry for the pun,) champagne brunch on Sundays, it's also within walking distance to Cheeseman Park which is purported to be haunted as well. I think the hotels that are haunted go out of business if they are like cheap motels, & the ones that survive to profit of such stories are also damn good hotels. Even if you never see something spooky at say The Stanley, it's still a GREAT hotel.

Go visit zak bagans haunted museum you'll have a haunted experience alright. I know someone who went and loved it until she fainted due to a dark presence. But he said meeting zak was worth it. I'm like the biggest ghost adventures fan ever and even i wouldn't say that lol but it's one hell of an experience from what my friend tells me. So when and if the pandemic ever gets better that's my recommendation.

My husband would spend the night in any haunted house room etc etc alone. He has had supernatural experiences and it just doesn't scare him nothing does. Because he has come to the belief that it feeds off fear show none then after an initial attemt to scare him they just don't bother.
