It's like they took the wild power of nature and turned it into a story we can all relate to. And that harmony? Well, it's just as sweet as my grandma's homemade peach cobbler!
Now, I gotta give a big ol' shoutout to Little Big Town for reachin' 25 years together as a group. That's some true dedication and talent right there. Reminds me of the hard work us southern farmers put into our land day in and day out, rain or shine.
Speaking of natural phenomena, we've seen our fair share down here in the South. Hurricanes, tornadoes, and thunderstorms that can shake the barn off its foundation. But you know what? We keep on standin' strong, just like our great nation.

I have seen this music video a few times in the past but now that I have progressed through the natural process of healing from child molestation I am finally able to understand the meaning of parts of this song and to feel the confidence that I should be feeling right now. This song has brought 3 different emotions to me. Sad, angry and happy. I pray that this song helps others as much as I feel it has helped me!! If you don't like this song you probably have a guilty conscience. Thank you Little Big Town you are making a difference!!

Maybe most people don't get the video but many do, as for myself I have never been Molested and I know exactly what little big town are implying, especially when you see the face of that pig smirking and a young girl who might be 12 sitting on the bed in an uncomfortable position.

Try 2024. Just discovered them. Wow was I missing out on awesome music.
I watched them make this video in my town (Watertown TN) and I used to work at the Southern Kitchen, where a few scenes were filmed. It was a great time. The band acted like real people. They let me take pictures and shook my hand. It was really great. Those people made a fan out of me! They did such a great job on this video and I love watching it!

I can’t believe I finally found this song. I heard it 4 years ago at a big country bar and I just remember this bad ass tune playing and seeing the music video playing in one of its big projectors and fell in love with the singer. I just loved everything about it... I wasn’t able to remember any lyrics. I tried asking on Facebook trying to describe the video to them, I kept describing the singer to them as a country singer with long dark straight hair, and a very slim face and a bit tanned. Nothing... just out of the blue I felt like looking up that description on google but I got nothing. I tried thinking the year I heard it and looked up the top female country songs of that year and non of them looked like what I remembered except Little Big Town and then I remember I like another song from them and that the singer is gorgeous and fits the description and finally I was able to find it here on RUclips. I know this was a long rant but gosh this really meant a lot to me... I can’t believe I found it.

My wife and I lived through a tornado while we lived in Oklahoma. The one that flew over Adair and ended up smashing into Joplin Missouri in 2011. Crazy time. Great song Little Big Town!
Here's "the thing", I used to literally chase tornadoes, even have a tattoo on my stomach of one, then I was involved in a very abusive relationship for the last few years, that I recently, FINALLY, ENDED...this song & video resonates with me so very much. Props all day to Little Big Town & everyone involved w/this song & video.

I personally am more of an armchair storm chaser and I was just horrified by the infamous EF5 tornado that devastated Joplin, Missouri on May 22nd, 2011. That one is the seventh deadliest tornado on record since 1950, the deadliest tornado since the 1947 Glazier/Higgins/Woodard tornado, and the costliest on record ($2.8 billion.)

2019?? Tired of being abused I finally got away after 6 years after he had no choice but to call an ambulance and put me in the hospital for 3 1/2 weeks 6 fractured ribs broken jaw that was wired shut for 6 weeks and my nose. He did all this in front of our kids got a slap on the wrist 6 months guess it pays when your family is a judge and a da. I survived put our kids and myself in counseling and moved back home to our family we were not able to talk to. I'm just sorry I couldn't of gotten away sooner nobody deserves this. We are home and safe 5 states away and our children couldn't be happier. This song is so powerful and made me feel I'm not alone.
I hope you and your kids are getting help by going to a therapist and also talking to someone outside of it as well and keep track of everything in case he tries anything cause abusive man will always keep hunting and causing you problems..

Some hidden meanings: the lady in the front yard burning the comforter, could indicate sex abuse; the 4 marching thru town coming to confront the guy, the cross on the wall, little girl down on her knees praying. This is just my interpretation. Before music videos, we had an image in our mind what the song meant.
