I love Outlander, but i must say, that it is not ok to split the season 7 in two with one year between them! The fans do not deserve this!

Thank you for this lovely long interview! David Berry is amazing (and SO humble!)
I'm going to weigh in on the discussion about the way Lord John and Jamie understand each other very well. You said that you thought they were very different in upbringing and morals. I disagree (though maybe this isn't as evident in the show. It really is reading the LJG series of books though). Different countries, different political allegiances, differences in the urban vs. rural way of life. BUT, both born into affluent families, very well educated. Both have been taught the responsibility of looking after tenants or other people under their protection, both value family and honour/vows above all else. Both soldiers, and leaders, that can be extremely generous and compassionate, but are courageous and brutal when need be. And both quite open-minded for the time. I think they became friends in Ardsmuir because, despite outward appearances, they realised how much they actually had in common.
I wonder if the question about Lord John singing was an attempt at uncovering whether the scene from the book (LJG singing in a tent to catch Dottie's attention scene) would be in the show. Because in the books, Lord John DID apparently have a beautiful tenor voice.

So far I'm Loving this really ie listening to this. He'd be really good as romantic lead in romantic drama. He has the intensity and looks. So agree about what he says re psychology behind what the character does in crazy plot twists to make it grounded and realistic.

The books are different than the show. I have all of them but the new one. I hope they don’t kill off Jamie and Claire 😢❤❤

Diana says it's a 50y marriage story and Jaime's dead at 25 (ghost reference revealed). She said they die in their 80s (article quote during the Covid 19 pandemic).
There's more than book 9, so only Sam, Diana, and Maril know what happened to them.
Only God knows if, when, we'll see the end of the show would be. Or the publisher's release of Book 10.
Diana is sharing with the producers parts of the book 10 and BOMB prequel.
Either way, were lucky to have what we get. I'm grateful for knowing Outlander.
David is my other favorite character on the show. I'd love to meet David in reality.
Good luck with your future endeavors!

Thank you for this interview with David Berry/LJG. He's one of my favorite actor & character behind Sam/Jamie. He's seems like a really humble man, especially not taking credits for how he took on the role of LJG & making him popular. A singing scene in the show would be great like a Christmas scene with the Fraser, especially that David's involved in those activities during the Christmas season. He's an amazing singer & attractive as well. I'll definitely miss David once Outlander is over. ✨🫶🤗
