I love the idea of this challenge! A little tip from a graphic design student to help make it easier next time (if you do this again): black and white are free extras to add to your palette!! When working with a colour palette, you typically have two main colours, a few accent colours, and then a neutral (e.g. white). I hope this helps if you do this challenge again in the future (I hope you do!).

Honestly same. My main thing was inspiration, after I “completed” the game I felt I had nothing to do and I was kind of lost😅 and it does tend to get boring, but after finding this channel, I am DETERMINED to have the perfect customized island lol🥰

Raven, I’m not sure if you know this, but if you go in the cafe and restaurant, there’s a couple extra villagers in there whose houses you can make for them! Should be 2 for each of the locations, in case you don’t like any of the options on the beach ^.^

I think the colour palettes usually look quite nice, which is handy, but I bet it would be quite tricky to get the hang of
When you started talking about Ursula’s witch backstory, it went perfectly up with the little mermaid haha. Love the hair too. Also, apple would’ve been SO good for palette 2

After watching Ursula's house I have a suggestion: Make the room small so you don't need to find so much furniture and go through that pain.
The balcony with the fireworks wall was so clever and creative omg I would never have thought to do a cute little apartment balcony inside!! I love how the palettes forced you out of your comfort zone and made you make some cool ideas you wouldn't have done, like the balcony and the cute grandma witch room. Facing diversity is the mother of creativity, as they say! Great job!!
I loved how Sandy's build turned out, but the instant I saw the colour palette I thought of a cute little beach hut. I love that it inspires different things in different people!

I bought a color palette book at a used book store some years ago. I love to use it when i am coloring in my intricate adult coloring books. It gives me a direction so i am not always gravitating towards standard roygbiv.

I think you should combine some of the happy home paradise challenges, for example, tiny home with a specific color scheme. Just an idea :)
For Biffs house I would have used the party lights next to the plant partition instead of the wood. Only because I think it would look more balcony-like.. BUT I liked all the houses you did ❤️
