Y’all slow and only listening to one side. If u know me u know I’m genuine and I’m not materialistic at all. I stated that’s how I show I care about someone cause I didn’t grow up getting affection my mom showed she cared thru taking care of us. So I show my love Thru “ACTS OF SERVICE” meaning buying gifts, making sure they’re straight, getting them whatever they want etc. ITS A DIFFERENCE! And also I lacked in affection because of my career and being busy. Well you like to show love through gifts and probably acts of service and she prefers to receive love with quality time and likely words of affirmation. So the moral of the story is we have to learn how our partners like to receive love and try to compromise a little in order to be on the same page and vice versa. I also left off Postpartum as a factor too! People don’t talk about it enough about the effects of postpartum on relationships. It affects women and men. Sleep deprivation, changes in the body, dividing time with the new baby, and the emotional aspect.

Trey seems like a good dude. When he was talking about the things he wanted for his daughter, you can tell he got real passionate about it. He wants her to have everything he didn’t. I appreciate watching this and completely understand it. When you are young, you really are just reenacting the relationships you saw as a child. Most aren't healthy because they are formed from trauma. I can definitely understand her pain and his. In the end, he got quiet because he realized that he really hurt her but also that they really aren't healthy together. Both aren't wrong or right it is the space of moving on and learning lessons.
That was a great conversation by the way; I think some people are missing the point of this discussion. The whole thing is they were young and they did not have the foundation to make the relationship work. They moved in together way too fast. As a young woman being 17 years old, Senia did not have the tool to be emotionally intelligent. And Trey was showing his love to her by taking care of the household and gifting her; basically thinking she would be appreciative of doing what a grown man is supposed to do. I think what Senia really wanted the most is to spend some quality time with him. By Trey showing her his phone he thought that would make her feel secure. Anyways I think they were both too young to understand what they needed from one another. With that being said I think it’s wise for young people to take their time to learn each other and setting boundaries before getting too deep in relationships. It would be even better to get married before having children . I don’t think anyone is to blame for the relationship not working out. They have grown up; hopefully in the future they are better prepared to handle tough situations and have the tools to navigate certain obstacles in a relationship.

I can understand both POVs. Trey was working to not only secure their future, but his family's too. Also, he didn't like constantly being falsely accused. Senia wanted romance and reassurance, but those bills don't pay themselves. Money didn't matter as much to her, but Trey refused to go back to not having enough of it. My man’s biggest fear is being broke again too.. he don’t ever want to feel that feeling again. No I think it’s the difference in how they were raised she was use to to love,quality time, and things like that but Trey was use to providing for his family so that’s all he knew how to do so he mostly didn’t realize what he was lacking in. So he provided materialistic things because that’s what his money provided but I don’t think he was too invested in materialistic things that’s just how he showed his love by providing for her and eventually he forgot about the quality time
I feel Senia.... it's more to a relationship or connection than taking care of somebody or giving them money/gifts. The relationship was lacking affection, a true connection. Honestly, that's more valuable than money/materialistic things. But I get Trey as well, a man is supposed to be the provider. He’s telling the truth though working your hardest to get the life or to live the life you want it has its sacrifices such as not celebrating your birthday, losing friends, not going to parties or to clubs, not enjoying summer breaks,not enjoying spring breaks, not being in a relationship, or just not going on trips with your friends. This is what me and my husband went through because I was raise to love, but I also show my love through acts of service buying and making sure you good. My husband was raised on survival. He started working and hustling since he was 13. That’s all he knows how to do is work. When we first met he had 3 jobs, but no car no apartment nothing. We started from scratch. By the time we separated we were 3 kids in had cars, house. We separated 3 years. It took a long time for him to realize you can have love and you also can have a career. Being here, but being present is two different things. Definitely see it.

I appreciate watching this and completely understand it. When you are young, you really are just reenacting the relationships you saw as a child. Most aren't healthy because they are formed from trauma.
I can definitely understand her pain and his. In the end, he got quiet because he realized that he really hurt her but also that they really aren't healthy together. Both aren't wrong or right it is the space of moving on and learning lessons.

That was a great conversation by the way; I think some people are missing the point of this discussion. The whole thing is they were young and they did not have the foundation to make the relationship work. They moved in together way too fast. As a young woman being 17 years old, Senia did not have the tool to be emotionally intelligent. And Trey was showing his love to her by taking care of the household and gifting her;
basically thinking she would be appreciative of doing what a grown man is supposed to do. I think what Senia really wanted the most is to spend some quality time with him. By Trey showing her his phone he thought that would make her feel secure. Anyways I think they were both too young to understand what they needed from one another. With that being said I think it’s wise for young people to take their time to learn each other and setting boundaries before getting too deep in relationships. It would be even better to get married before having children . I don’t think anyone is to blame for the relationship not working out. They have grown up; hopefully in the future they are better prepared to handle tough situations and have the tools to navigate certain obstacles in a relationship.

Armon was dating a girl who’s dad is literally Lil Wayne.. I don’t think there was a chance in hell that she’d ever understand his work ethic. And that’s no diss. She was blessed with a parent who has her set for life. Its a different feeling when you know what its like to have to stand in line for food, or what its like to be starving, or having to live with other people just to have a home. With Ar’mon & Reginae, it wasn’t even about him working all the time & not giving affection. We saw that man give 110% affection. So he provided materialistic things because that’s what his money provided but I don’t think he was too invested in materialistic things that’s just how he showed his love by providing for her and eventually he forgot about the quality time

He’s telling the truth though working your hardest to get the life or to live the life you want it has its sacrifices such as not celebrating your birthday, losing friends, not going to parties or to clubs, not enjoying summer breaks,not enjoying spring breaks, not being in a relationship, or just not going on trips with your friends. Me personally I’ll do whatever it takes to get the life I want for myself and my future kids. Hell I can celebrate my accomplishments after I get the life I want.
This is what me and my husband went through because I was raise to love, but I also show my love through acts of service buying and making sure you good. My husband was raised on survival. He started working and hustling since he was 13. That’s all he knows how to do is work. When we first met he had 3 jobs, but no car no apartment nothing. We started from scratch. By the time we separated we were 3 kids in had cars, house. We separated 3 years. It took a long time for him to realize you can have love and you also can have a career. Being here, but being present is two different things. Definitely see it.

The way I understand both sides and neither one of them was the blame is crazy me coming from literally nothing having to raise myself my love language is giving gifts to show how much I love you and then on the other hand me being a mom and wanting that unconditional love and touch and feeling from my child’s father and never got that I love and support them both I’m happy y’all got to the point of healthy friendship/ co parenting 🩷🥺
I can still see them getting back together and working it out it looks like they love each other I’m here for it they look good together and I understand both sides 💯

@@Naiki29 what truth? I guess you watching to hear what you want to. It is clearly said he was on survival mode making money to provide her a good lifestyle, she would prefer to hame quality time. My thought she could of ended that relationship earlier because she was not being fulfilled but she may have liked the things she was getting. On the other hand he wasn’t being emotionally invested and I can’t fault him. He was young and didn’t understand what that was as he was never thought. Let us give grace to them both.
