Props to the Vampire Hunter for making it so far into Zephon's lair. Dude literally only died cause he wasn't aware that the entrance to the inner chamber is something Zephon could control at will to literally cut him in half.
It would have been cool if the Soul Reaver devs made a reference to Castlevania by naming one of the vampire hunters Belmont.

I think there is an implication throughout the entire Zephon dungeon that hunters were clearly attempting this for a while. Not to mention the human Vampire worshippers getting in the way.
Raziel choosing not to attack the hunters will change their behavior, however there are human worshipers who will attack Raziel regardless.
Anyways, props to the lone hunter who made it to Zephon. 🤘🏻
@@Krooksbane It was brave but foolish he went alone to fight one of Kains direct risen vampires who are well above the strength of mortal humans to defeat.
It's great to see modern playthrough/lore perspectives on the LOK series. This game was my favourite ps1game by narrative alone an honestly Zephons weakness confused me for the longest time I've ever been confused in a game... about half a year😂. This is one series that needs a remaster with ALL gameplay intact, not to mention a sequel to Kain's Defiance.

The lore and delivery for the LoK games is just so superb. I wish we still got games like this.

This level was so LOOOOOOONG! I kept getting jump-scared by the Zephonim noises too. I did enjoy coming back to it afterwards to find all the hidden treats. I also discovered if you spike the vampires and don't absorb their souls, you can finish the puzzle without them respawning. Gotta get that puzzle done quick before your health runs out though!
Zephon is one of my favorite creature design from the first Soul Reaver, but I didn't remember how many puzzles we had to solve to get to the bossfight.

Very good I like these I started watching from the 1st one you made because of your narration style I thought I would give you a chance and I've enjoyed every single one you've made. This is how you do it. You do everything entirely but keeping only through editing the parts that convey the story. Can be good for falling asleep or having a nap too maybe when the full compilation is out a long form with no screen turned on can do that for you. I also find the story of this game series more interesting than I would have first thought. I like how 90'a and 2000's games are just games they're not trying to be some faux-real life sim. The game is free to be just a game with simple game mechanics that you don't say to yourself this is not realistic you say it's a game and move on. Voice acting gives me Diablo vibes. I like medium-ish blurry textures, softer to look at than jagged high resolution textures on low poly models seems daft, so here in the video the balance seems nice from what I can tell.

I have absolutely no clue what's going on in this game (because i haven't seen your videos on the first game) but I'm enjoying it none-the-less, im going to go watch your videos on the first game now before i get invested in the plot of this one (:

Ohh the use of we. Well, I isn't fitting & I'd have to say Raziel 400 x. We is a catch-all for the narrator & the character
I vastly prefer the use of “we” in Dash’s narration. It gives a cozy vibe to me for some reason, and really immerses me.
