Colorado, despite being an amazingly beautiful state is a liberal cesspool and only reason why it grew is because liberals from communist republic of california, oregon and washington have flocked to the state to work remotely and to escape lockdowns. With return to office push, with work from home being functionally banned, with the gravy train ending... all that colorado has going for it now is tourism. Economy is horrible so people travel less and locals in colorado strongly advocate against even things like offroading by conservative republicans which brings even less tourism, not to mention a very weird weather pattern which further complicates tourism in the busy seasons. As a result of horrible policies, even worse politics and heavily promoting all the wrong things (if you stepped foot into telluride then you know what I am talking about)... are you really surprised that growth fell from 5th to 41st?

population growth isn’t a cause of economic growth. gdp should be normalized for population. pretty basic stuff. the video provides no insights into anything and concludes with an optimistic blast about adding jobs in 2025.
It's also stabilizing, and new housing construction is finally catching up, which is a positive development for the economy. It's not all doom and gloom!

Lived in CO, it has CA prices and they do not pay professionals what they are worth. Moved back to CA and our income shot way up.
