Early to mid 90's Beamers are sooo much better than the newer ones, in my opinion.
That's a BMW when BMW was a BMW!
Late 80s and early 90s BMWs are my fucking fettish. I love them all.
That's awesome. You and Sofyan are quickly racking up new subscribers. Glad you're giving the people what they want as NOTHING beats a test drive with your personal feedback. I'm happy that you decided to keep this channel going too!
The classic businessman's car. I like the design of these older BMWs more then the new ones.
That coin holder comes with the car! Shows the owner took care of it.
Don't ever change!! Love the style of review and the kind of cars you review as well! RARE BEAST indeed :)
just when I thought V8's couldn't get any smaller...
Nice to see this beast still alive and kicking :)
That tick is the water pump just fixed the same problem in mine. The bearing for fan was so shot that it was actually carving a circle in the side of the block
This car is a jewerly!! Love it!! Love the video!
My first Bimmer! Never should have sold it, black/black
Red is sooo the best color for the E34!!
If you tap the drivers window or the sunroof, it has an auto function. The second position on the wiper stalk is also variable, going from intermittent when the car is stationary, to the low setting when the car is moving.
Sounds similar to a V12 starting up, and sounds so nice when revved.
Dang I though the 458 Italia's 3.8 liter V-8 was small, but a 3.0 liter V-8?! My Dad's M37 has a 3.7 liter V-6. Awesome review as always Chris, thanks for showing this. I wouldn't mind owning one of these as a to-do vehicle, I love my Juke too much to replace her.
This reminds me of the red BMW that starred in "My Date With the President's Daughter." I used to want one so bad when that movie came out.
Even though its been smoked in, reupolstured etc Im quite flattered by this car. My Dad had a 1987 325 way before I was born
The front actually does have cup holders. The long stretch of empty space left on the shifter is the cup holder.
oops just noticed that, sorry, thanks for the clarifiation! Yeah they do sound pretty good.
Oh nice! My dad is getting one of these. Do you like it better than the 2006 model?
is there a rev limiter when its in park? im getting the same car from my buddy in 2 weeks but i need a battery, i wont know till then.
Exhaust sound at 7:52
Love the e34s.
BMW's don't have cup holders because they're a driver's car.. Most people don't buy a BMW to eat McDonalds they buy them to drive. Trunk is a bit shallow but deep, seems legit
Dude...CAN YOU PLZ TELL US WHERE YOU FILM ALL THESE CARS? Is it a repo lot?
I have the same car in black standing in my garage only driven when weather is good ! :-)
The engine is not that bad, I have it in my E32 7 series, it's not as spirited as the B40, but it gets the job done nicely and with 144 mph topspeed there still no slouch. Plus, the B40s had loads of transmission failures because they didn't build the gearbox to handle the torque.
The ticking is quite normal, though these are the first V8s BMW built in many decades and they were never as smooth as the I6s or V12. They even idle pretty rough in many cases, especially when in cold climates.
where do you live? yes I didn't know of the cars before I looked them up. Sine you said not many people in the USA heard of them not sure if you are one of the people who have heard of them or you are from a different country
you have very nice car
Buying one tomorrow from a mechanic tomorrow.
I would have to disagree to people who say it is the best sounding. Muscle cars make the best sounds in my opinion. This does sound great though. Can't believe an engine with this displacement can be a v8 and have this sound
Press once for the auto down window
Can you do a Mazda CX-5? :) I really want to see your opinion on them.
My hydraulics went out for the trunk a while back
I thought the ferrari 360 had a small V8. Great video! I want a E34 M5.
There are 2.0l v8s..
I don't see why not, tho i'd stick to the Inline 6's if I were you. Earliest versions of BMW V8's weren't so hot reliability wise
Can you review the Pilot next to it?
@PorscheCayenneLover you mean 4.5 liter right?
Amazing bmva
Do one on a 2001-2004 BMW 325i or 325xi (they're the same) give your honest opinion, I need it! :)
nice car. It is also a good example of how German cars have various things before anyone else like that dual zone climate control. I know people who look at the MFI (some might call it a trip computer) as if no one else has it. I laugh at them since I own a Volkswagen and they have had them long before people started seeing them in their Jeeps and Buicks. I even tell them it is not as new as they think it is and mention a couple cars that I have seen it in. I also like to open or close my windows from the outside door lock (and I do it sometimes with a grin on my face like can you do this!?!?)😂. I often do t when someone in a Carolla is near since I don't like Corollas. I had one for a rental car once and it was ugly, gutless, and uncomfortable. I don't hate Toyota, I will just never buy a Corolla or other 4 cylinder model made by Toyota. They are boring and the only advantage is good mileage but I would rather have a Diesel German car over that any day.
I got a e34 but I lost the key how would i get a new key made
It does have an auto down funktion for the windows! just push the windows down button fast, and let it go..
im curious, i bought an e34 530i in 2005, and the single previous owner neglected to get the recall done on the short block before 100k km.... i was a young teen looking for some german muscle and didnt know better, bought this beast and spend $8k cdn to have the cunt resleeved. i still lover her, but man, that hurt.
sooo did you get a block after the recall repair? or are you stuck paying for it like i did?
Haha, whoops! That's what I get for writing a comment upon waking. Yes, 4.5 liter 8 cylinder = 458. The MP4-12C has the 3.8 liter. What do you drive PremierAutoMan86?
I have a 94 540i, it's a lot better than the 530i. The 4.0 gives it A LOT more power than the 3.0, the 3 liter should've went in a 6 cylinder.
Love this video :)
But e34 has been made from 1987 til 1996 :)
I have a '93 530 Touring :)
Also it does have auto window, you just have to hit it twice
@J Jones Yeah ;)
man oh man i miss my e34 :(
That is the hydraulic lifter ticking.
hollikas Thanks, that narrows my search instantly. I just bought one like this one.
The trunk is quite large, a bit shallow but very deep and wide????
and the 4.3 V6!
The back HAS a CUP HOLDER ITS in the middle when the ac and heat vents are its right under it. if you press it it will come out lol
can i buy it?
Times sure do change. Nowadays a 3.0L is a small V6.
Germans never thought about cup holders, because they do not really drink in their cars
Dealer's only auction. He buys cars for dealerships and sellers.
sounds like a 90s Ford 5.0 liter Windsor V8 starter
Americans and their cup holders. Do you really need them?
No, but they made sure you have a nice ashtray. Is that for Europeans?
Yes
Not many cupholders are necessary. When do you see Germans walking around with large McDick's cups of Coke? Lol.
I miss the days when he said the bad things
Really? I saw it.
I have had stalling problem
If you double tap the window up and down its Auto.
I almost would buy that just until I heard the owner was a smoker
hey i bought this car at manheim cfl i still have the car
That's where it was
+Parker Jacobs what about the intermittent tick? Was it just a purge valve or did it just need synthetic oil?
+Intechdude300 I think just oil. That's all I've done and I haven't heard it since. But now that it has sat it might be back.
+Parker Jacobs it'd be cool to make a video of it one day if you got it running again but a test drive. This was over 3 years ago & I rarely get called out by owners of a car I previously blessed, especially someone local lol
@@parkerjacobs4493 hi! I have the same car, i did a lot of work on but still have the tick, did it came back?
V8 has 4.0 liter not V6
ag no just race it why go thru the nerd stuff?
No one gives a damn about cupholders. Only Americans.
whatever, I just wedge my drinks in the back slot of the center console.
