You are really talented have to say that. I have been a Canon 1Dx user and it has been months and I cannot decide between the new Canon 1Dx Mark III and the Leica SL2 but your video convinced me. Great work
Ok, so I loved your video, and I think I commented on that in the past. But I need to know, if you had a choice between the two, would you choose a Leica SL2 or a Canon 1DX Mark III?
Ahh lady - but you forgot to mention the total deal killer with this camera. Almost every new camera model coming out now has some type of flip out screen. I shoot Fuji (2x X-H1's), and I probably shoot 85% of the time from the hip (street/travel/environmental portraiture). Silly old Leica got stuck in the dark ages and brought out their brand new model, which will probably have to last the next 3-5 yrs, and they bunged on a fixed screen - what were the clowns thinking of??
@@swatkasham5509 I wasn't being mean - just truly mystified of what on earth Leica were thinking of. You look at all the new cameras today - Nikon Z, Canon R, Panasonic S series, all the Fujis, all the Sony cameras - they all have flip out screens. Leica are the only ones locked into the past. Anyway - look at your other video - I said nice things there so I'm not a mean person.
@@swatkasham5509 Hi there - yes I believe it is working for Leica. They are different to any other camera company and have their very loyal followers. Leica shooters tend to shoot more considerately, a little less slower and more like they are using a film camera. I think for them it may not matter that it has no flip out screen. For me it is a killer, but I couldn't afford Leica anyway for what I do, so it's moot point. I'm very happy with my Fuji crop sensor cameras. Just as a matter of interest, did you end up buying the SL2?
@@philipsutton2316 no I didn't get it. Maybe someday I will get one. I enjoy using the Canon cameras right now. Leica would be a camera I obtain for whenever I would like to take a wee break from my Canon. It is a super pricey camera.
Very creative shooting, you deserve the Leica!
Thank you so much
Loved the forethought and preparation you gave to the shoot, and the great results you got.
Love it! Instant follow
Thank you Marlon! I appreciate it all!

You are so kind! I hope you enjoy it!
Great photos. I absolutely love the SL2. It feels so good shooting with it and the results are amazing.
It's a remarkable camera! Thank you!

You know what? I would go for the Canon option!

@@philipsutton2316 I believe they are not trying to appeal to a wider clientele. I wonder if it's working for them? What do you think?

What lens did you used? Comparing it to your Canon 7D what are the key points that you found you missed from Canon while using the Leica SL2?
90% certain that was the 24-90 f2.8-f4 Leica lens
