The editing was phenomenal. And last but not least,that cinematography was out of this world! Ratskewer,you just never fail,do ya?
Car trips express themselves as a trip not to a destination, but to a better understanding of one's self, alongside any other person they travel with. Rat starts with no destination, a past or will to take the driver's responsabilities, relying on a broken man, led astray by unfinished business, one older, and wiser enough to keep on going. But as Rat begins to grow as a individual, and face the road's dangers, both of their weaknesses flow out, and turn into their mutual strenght, such as Rat taking the driver seat. This signifies not only Rat's growth to becoming self-reliant, but reveals how Swordstealer also falls to his friend's old role of a mere passenger, being saved and taken by the very person he took off with. At 15:07, the hazards of the road that often kept Rat shut at the passenger seat are barely even acknowledged, and both his quirks and Swordstealer's turn into one. The car is gone, but it was never about wheels and oil. It was about getting yourself together, and finding the oil to keep who you are going, be it alone or not. "So, where y'all headed? Anywhere but here." All you need to do is keep driving, Rat. Spectacular video.
