- In this Minecraft mod showcase we review the Sinytra Connector mod for 1.20.1 which allows you to load Fabric mods on Forge! :D In the video I showed off a small Forge/Fabric mod pack, so it ended longer than I wanted, but at least it was fun! :)

This was an interesting experiment and I really liked trying to make a small Fabric/Forge mod pack! :D Although I was enjoying a bit too much and made this video a bit longer than I wanted to lol XD I was hoping one day someone would make mod so we can use Fabric mods with on Forge and this time it was successful and it's exciting! :)
Sinytra connector single-handedly made me move from 1.12.2 to 1.20.1
Yeah, I still think it's an awesome mod and really changes 1.20.1 modding! 1.12.2 was very great for mods and so was 1.16.5, but I definitely think 1.20.1 has been really great with mods and so many mods have been updating to 1.20.1! :D
Thanks for the shader info! Was struggling getting forge connector working with sodium and iris to use immersive portals. Still can't get the portal thing to work but at least i have shaders.
No problem! :D It's great you got it working and I'm glad I decided to add shaders last minute. That's too bad, but It's awesome it's working with other mods!
@@ThePhoenixChannel how did you get it to work? Ive tried on curse forge and modrinth but it wont let me install better end or better nether on forge loader
I install my mods manually. Mod managers like curse forge and modrinth won't let you mix mods from different mod loaders.
@@ThePhoenixChannel i actually figured out how to do it using modrinth, you can switch your profipe back and forth to install fabric and forge mods together...and modrinth has an import from other loaders option...does it not work? I havent tried it yet but during setup it said something about it. Maybe i misunderstood what it was saying but sounded like i could import from others like curseforge...i know ATloader allows you to mix and match from others but it has an odd setup compared to curse and modrinth
This is revolutionary. Did you have any problems with downloading certain mods such as the better nether and L-Ender’s cataclysm or did they just work flawlessly on the first go? And are any mods that require Geckolib or any other API incompatible unless it’s a forge version? Or is it incompatible with both versions of Geckolib.
Yeah, it really is revolutionary! :D Mods like Better Nether and L-Ender’s Cataclysm did work flawlessly, but that was with an updated version of Sinytra since Better Nether used to be broken with the connector mod before. Also what I meant is that when both Geckolib fabric and Geckolib forge are installed at the same time, one of them stops the other from working. The creator said "AoA bundles Forge Geckolib, which will be preferred over its Fabric version in case you install both. This means Fabric Geckolib will never be loaded" in #231 on GitHub for another mod. The issue is still open, so that might be fixed eventually. Well hopefully lol.
@@ThePhoenixChannelThat’s amazing, I’ve been looking to start combing the fabric and forge mods in my next custom mod pack (currently playing a mod pack for 1.18.2 for forge) I’ve been seeing a lot of videos showing the two mods but never showed it actually working in game lol. This video is what gave me the interest to give it a try in the future. (Staying on 1.18.2 until ice and fire and Mowzie’s mobs gets updated. Btw been watching your videos since your Wyromroost showcase (which made me actually get the mod myself. A fun but useless fact.
The videos only showing both the mods together is the reason why I took my time to make a small mod pack, even if that meant I was late to the party and would have a longer video lol. I really love those two mods, I also hope they update. Also I think it's awesome that you watched my other videos! :D I really had fun showcasing Wyronroost, plus I was more motivated when making videos back when I showcased it haha.
can you do a video using bewitchment 1.20.1 fabric on forge, i can get it to work but you might be able to too and would love to see it
I'm probably not making another fabric on forge video, but I might mention it somewhere. Bewitchment looks like an interesting mod, I might cover it someday and test it with Sinytra! :D

Yeah, that's one of the issues I explained. I think AdventureZ uses GeckoLib Forge which breaks when using a mod with GeckoLib Fabric.
Note: The AdventureZ mod issue has been fixed in the latest Sinytra Connector version which is Beta 25
