Your Mu should come as 135.75KNm as your taking the moment from midspan ! You did the error in CG while calculating the for 2 equation it's should be ((1.465+3.3/2 )/2)

What if instead of the wall, the staircase would be resting on a beam on both sides at the edges. Do we still design the staircase as pinned? Also would the beam undergo torsion?

I think 325 mm is too high for D, we can reduce it by using the modification factor between 1.2 &1.5
