How about reversing the principle - everyone has to build their own overpowered build, while using the same small one. No limits on the big one other than blocks & shields amount.
This. I can't believe I haven't seen this idea/thought of it/Scrapman hasn't done it. We always have yall build the small ones, now build the best big one! Could do this with all the past OP challenges.
4:20 and ScrapMan once again forgets about quantum rudders which redirects your momentum much more efficiently than all other wing pieces in the game xD
I think the higher offense of double blasters really offsets having to respawn. So that should be the standard since then you aren't respawning and just constantly drilling into the OP build, instead getting spurts of high damage.
here's a fun idea; planetary defense one player mans an overpowered weapons platform somewhere on a celestial body of choice, and has to take out the other players who need to build some sort of vehicle to both reach the planet from the ship/station in the middle of the map and also navigate the planet well enough to not crash when they get there

Video idea : You could do an overpowered land or sky fortress battle, this way the overpowered target is stationary and you could have the small vehicles drop a dynamite loaded bomb on it, very effective but hard to pull off. This could also work with an overpowered space station
You definitely need to take into account when energy shields are involved. If you're overlapping them like you were on the OP hovercraft then you need either an near equivalent number of blasters, fewer EMP's, or about double to triple any conventional gun (not including explosive weapons.) So like the cannons and rocket launchers can go toe-to-toe in a roundabout way with the shields, but smart gun, micro gun, and minigun all need like double to triple the number of shields present to have any hope of punching through them in any kind of appropriate time, especially when being shot back by blaster rounds, which are OP within themselves. That being said, revisiting the player-guided munitions with the target vehicle being armed with EMP's would make for an interesting video. Mainly because things like torpedoes could just go backwards or roll uncontrollably and missiles could just face plant into the ground or the TNT could just go off. But a 5 "barreled" EMP spread defense against player-guided munitions would make for some more interesting revisits. Also, you have yet to do Beyblades and Battle Bots in a while. You can easily do OP versions of those.
Idea: Overpowered Brawl. Taking all of the overpowered builds you have and making them fight one another in one big brawl (or a tournament bracket if you can't get enough people to pilot everything at once) Land builds may need to be on a smaller island for the sea builds to be able to fight them properly.
I don't think there is anything wrong with the infinite repairs for the small stuff in general (ofc it would not really work for these kind of hovercrafts). In fact without it I suspect we would see a LOT more of that first "training" round in this where they just wont be able to deal enough damage to every kill the OP vehicle
i think it should be case by case tbh. like in the ones where they get explosives they shouldnt be able to repair immediately, as its a lot of firepower immediately restored
I have a few ideas if you would like. 1. Hide and Seek, the block limit becomes a pain the higher it is because it is easier to get spotted so you need to be fast with as few blocks as possible, also limit cores so you need to get unique with mobility. 2. Overpowered bipedal mechs, this would take awhile to build but it hasn't been done on the channel (as far as I'm aware) 3. Showcase evolution. Find others creations and evolve them, it could give recognition to small creators and help people solve problems with their own creations. I have personally done hide and seek with my friends and it is a lot of fun and can get very wacky when you see what ridiculous excuses for mobility you can come up with. One was pistons on every side of a submersible seat so you could just spring around. Enjoying the series a lot and congrats on 900k subs!
Video idea: Overpowered cube. Create a giant, armored cube that's anchored to the ground. You each get your own cube and the goal is to build a vehicle that _only_ uses physical/kinetic impacts to try and deal as much damage as possible to your cube within a time limit. The challenge will be to make a vehicle that's strong enough to do a ton of damage, but also durable enough to not smash _itself_ to pieces
this new rule of respawning should include that the attacked vehicle shouldnt run too far away from the spawn points so they gain extra time just by the attackers having to go further and further to just catch up to the attacked vehicle
multiplier video idea (in scrap mechanic): guess the paint!!! (2 versions) .1: 1 person takes 1 block/part, places x2, and leaves one of them at the default color and the other block is painted a very similar color, then the 2nd person has to guess wich one is wich. .2: 1 person takes 3 DIFFERENT blocks/parts leaves 2 of them default color and paints the last one a similar color to its default, then the 2nd person has to guess wich one is painted. :)
Overpowered Terra Techs Hover Craft battle, I can provide my Flying Fortress V3 if you need an over powered Hover Craft! Though, not sure how the multiplayer works, you may need a mod for it.
Overpowered spaceship VS Interceptor spaceships. In the space map, you have 1 overpowered spaceship, while two small interceptors are chasing it and trying to destroy it.
i think you guys should do overpowered allpurpose vs 2 mini allpurpose vehicles where they can fly, drive, float, and submerge and chase each other around the entire map!
I still kinda want to see submarines versus overpowered hovercraft or vice versa, but what scrapman does is up to him, so I know he'll keep up the good work
OP Hot Air Balloon. One that has multiple shields and lift Balloons vs your creations that have no more than three balloons. Another option would be for the OP Balloon vs propeller planes. Best of luck!

I'm wondering if y'all have done 1 Overpowered Helicopter against two underpowered Mobile AA. The AA can only have 2 Miniguns and the OP Helicopter can use not one but three shields with a variety of armaments such as emps and Rockets
It might be an interesting twist if you guys also each made your own overpowered vehicles, that way you could try different strategies, rather than just a mattering of guns pointed in every directions and some shields. If you really wanted to go wild with it, then you could make your declared strategy the primary limit on the overpowered vehicle, rather than a core or weapon count, so you could do really off the wall things like declare your strategy is going to be a main weapon and then put together a magnetic crate launcher or a stacked piston bomb launcher with absurd range, but less area coverage.
Idea: A plane dogfight, but you need to combine 3 builds from the workshop to get a plane. Every player needs to search for a build on the workshop with a block limit of 100 and split the plane in 4 parts ( cockpit, wings, body and tail ) then you need to choose randomly the parts in order to build the plane. Then do the normal rounds with the weapons
yall should do an episode of trying overpowered vehicles against each other; any of your op air or water vehicles, the players can all choose which one they want to use, but the water crafts can add guns that fire up if anyone chooses an air vehicle, for balance reasons. nobody can change the other vehicles, they have to be used as they were built. and no submarine, unless everyone goes for water craft.
You guys should do 'Realistic' torpedoes. Real torpedoes carry large yields, and detonate BELOW their target rather than on impact. It would be interesting to see how that raft-like battleship without a keel or the overpowered battleship would fare against 8 or 10 dynamite.
