The King's Royally Initiated Laem Phak Bia Environmental Research and Development Project is a model project for finding the appropriate practices to solve the environmental problems of solid waste and wastewater must be developed based on disciplinary technologies that are simple and easy to practice. They are based on the principles of self- purification process or utilization of natural means to habilitate deteriorated natural resources. By- Products can be used to recover the environment of natural seashore and to create other benefits. Models of the wastewater treatment, solid waste disposal, social analysis and environmental education can be applied to other areas of the country.
