That's because this one's geared more towards the rock genre, hence the name "IA ROCKS." The creators took in the complaints and made IA sound more "human" like, kinda like Gumi if you consider her to sound human like, and clearer. Also, I think the vocal ranges and how you can pitch her voice (like in rock music, when you have a part you really want to project) you can change it more than the other, but it still retains its "opera" like quality that distinguishes IA
Well, I mean, it wasn't that big of a difference, though I do like IA rocks more than regular IA Or maybe I just like them about the same, I'm not sure.
I find that what happens with Miku and Rin and Gumi has fallen onto IA, where people want to use her really freaking high pitched, all these Vocaloids, as well as IA, are able to hit low tones and sound better because of it. And its proven in this song. Congrats. I look forward to more songs using the Vocaloids lower tones, as this does.
