So in yongpyong red difficulty rating is double black diamond and black difficulty is just Black diamond, I’ve been snowboarding this Mountain for ages and I’m glad u got to check it out, it’s awesome for advanced snowboards!
Yeh basically every slope rates are a level degraded from all the others in NA and EU. The only legit black/black diamond slopes are/were located in a southern mountain called Muju, unfortunately because of a few incidents of fatal accidents there and for cost saving measures they shut them down at 99'. There are few photos on the internet remaining, and they look quite beautiful. Like a thing or place of dreams you know you will never see it in its true form again
