I feel your pain, every year without fail my first rise to the dry is missed or just lipped. I blame a winter of nymphing for stupid grayling!

O newt...that looked like a good fish!..was that the CDC F fly in olive...I have been cleaning up on the hot rib nymph on my Pennsylvania waters

@@nymphingnewt7639 usually I fish at shincliff hall at Durham but today I tried to fish further up the river at wolsingham loads of flies up there like I said had one take on the dry
