Nicely staged and acted. Rosina--the singer did her part well---though so many are afixed upon Callas's Hyper-dynamic interpretation and performance...is difficult at times to proper judge other Sopranos...Thanks very, for posting....
Interesting fact: the original overture of this opera has been lost to time. We don't know why this was, but Rossini recycled some of his earlier work to produce the new overture that we know and love today. Perhaps the original wasn't that good, or perhaps they lost the music for it. Either way, it does explain why the overture doesn't sound much like the style of the rest of it.

The tenor has a nice voice, but he opens his mouth to much in the coloratura passages making his passage labored. Otherwise it's a lovely voice.
