I wish I picked up the piano when I picked up the guitar as a kid, I learned so much on guitar as a kid, but you don't even apprecaite what you are doing as a kid, doesn't seem like work....now at the ripe age of 31 learning piano feels like a lot of work. Starting simple with children, and I'm going to go from there, hopefully I'll be playing Michael nyman pieces in a year ;)

I came from a guitar background to piano and am picking up piano allot faster than guitar - I think the cross over is large, ie getting left and right hand coordination and finger placement. You can do it!! =)
Bruh I started piano at 31/32 and I used an app called Simply Piano and it was so fun! I've been playing for a few months and having so much fun. I also played guitar growing up but I live piano so much more!
I just play stuff I like, it's that simple

Hey thanks for this! Do you have any tips on how to play the run faster? Getting the thumb under quick enough to keep up to 124 BPM? I'm a fairly new piano player and this is by far the hardest I have set out to learn. I have it down pretty good at 72 BPM.
You're welcome. Hope the practise is going well. Keep putting in the minutes and hours of practise and the speed will develop over time. A short-cut if you're literally just playing the riff and nothing else - i.e. you're not using your left hand for anything... you could 'cheat' and use both hands... use your left hand to do the bottom three notes, then the right hand to play the top two. Another option would be to simply practise your F harmonic minor scale ascending and descending over and over again.

I’m not afraid of some repetition so yes I’ll dive into F harmonic minor scales.
A piano player friend of mine corrected my hand shape to resemble a spider. This has helped.
I’ll keep playing this riff. Lol about a few thousand times now. But worth it!

Thank you for the tutorial. Suggestion: what about providing explanation more in terms of musical theory. The song key is F minor, why not simply use the F minor natural scale as a way to explain. Degrees I-III-V.
