The animated opening choir is present in only the theatrical release and the Castle Films version; the CBS version omits it in it's entirety. Mark Kausler, who scanned these early Terrytoons to begin with, was nice enough to splice in a Castle Films element.

Farmer Al Falfa and the little pig sure saved the other pigs-and from now on the little pig will be noticed at mealtime.:-)

Sooo, why does farmer Al Falfa raise pigs? Because he likes their looks?

Maybe he raises them for pets instead of food. I know some people keep pigs as pets IRL.

@@1701echopapa probably true, but pigs also don’t walk or talk. Gotta be some liberty when it comes to these kinds of cartoons.

@@BrowncoatGofAZI just think that it's amusing that cartoon farmers raise animals for no discernable purpose. I'm well aware that it's a common fantasy trope.

@@BrowncoatGofAZHey, I'm just pointing out the incongruity of cartoon farmers raising animals for no discernable purpose. I'm well aware that it's a basic fantasy trope. It just seems funny to me, that's all.
