They put the caps on at the factory so the home owner doesn't mess with the settings. They set it to the factory. If you want it to run better, take the caps out and adjust it yourself. If you know how. If you don't take it somewhere or to someone who does.
I’ve checked many spark arrestors and I only ever found one that was severely obstructed on a pro tree trimmers chain saw . It took some real scrubbing to get it clean . But I got it.
What's the purpose of the rubber plugs on the carb adjustment screws?

Good video. I suggest to always pull out the screen and check it. It's just too easy not to do it.
To avoid tampering with the manufactory setting.

Great to hear!
Mr. Smooth did it again
Your spark plug is defective. The spark was going under the electrode. The spark should be going between the spark plug gap.
On what blower, look again the first blower had spark in between the gap
MASTER!!!
Awesome!
Thanks!

Everything is throw away
True no one wants to take time to do repairs
You wouldn't have to do all that work on it if you owned a compression tester. you would have known within 10 seconds of the video.
Run 10:1, increase the compression.
Seemed like a waste of time and what was the diagnosis...? The gas ? The mixture? The COIL ? HUH
Burned up piston and scored cylinder because owner was running it on pure gas without oil. This machine is only good for parts.
heres a fix for a common problem, dont buy stihl they're rubbish and overpriced for parts
