I agree…. The ending seems abrupt, almost a cop out without explaining or referencing some sort of odd thing about the man in the drawer. Too many loose ends…. How could he wrangle a teenage boy to escape a room on the second floor with only one scream and no banging or dragging noises. Especially if he was “just” a man.
Here is my theory, I think the man that was found was the brother. The police probably never suspected the brother and therefor, never checked if it was him or not. That would explain the breathing tube and the state of the man as a couple of days don’t change your appearance like that even if you die of thirst. This would also explain the note “he will have to do” as it seems the monster needed a body. Also explains lack of fingerprint and dental records as fingerprints are mostly related to criminal records and dental records of little kids are so far from their adult records. As for the monster it either died in the closed as the brother died or moved to a different person.
It doesn’t make sense. How is the man strong enough to move even bunk beds at a camp and not wake up multiple people? Even if they are drugged how did he drug the whole camp without anyone noticing? How did he follow the main character to camp? How did he take the teenage brother so quickly and without a fight on the second floor while not getting found? Absolutely makes no sense…
yes it does. it wasn’t a ghost or demon after all. the narrator even stated that it was an actual man that was moving the furniture & kidnapped the older brother. he was driving the family every night to do it. he was hiding n the cabinet & his body fell out. that’s why it was so heavy.
@@Andrew-w2q2mdrugged? When did he do that? He said sleeping pills so how did he managed to give those pills to th family every night? More over how did he gave pills to all those kids and adults in th camp and also to MC's friends when he did sleepover at their house?
@Bipolar_Iz_Bad that's the implication, but i could see a scenario where he spikes the food and water of those houses. But yea is a story so all of this is unrealistic.

How can your bed be moved without you noticing and waking up, that's what ruined this story for me.
