It just pre seasoned cast. I just use the scraper and water while its still warm. Looks like new still. I will be using it more this weekend and will post new video's.
@@TrashPandaAdventures I just got this unit and on Amazon the description says it is "porcelain enamled" I wasn't sure if a metal scraper was ok, that would have been a lot easier to use thanks.
I’m about to purchase the portable 2 burner royal gourmet. I’ve had a black stone before. Would u recommend porcelain and is any utensil safe to use? Thanks
It will not get messed up with any kind of tools. You can chip it with pointed corners if you bang on it hard I DID it to mine with a sharp tool but it only takes out point of impact the size of a pencil lead tip so just be aware of that.
This is not cast iron or carbon steel. It’s stainless steel with a porcelain/ceramic surface and eventually the metal utensils will damage the surface.
That porcelain prevents sticking and rust it has a fisheye in the porcelain and it's at least 2mm thick so as long as I'm not dropping it the porcelain should outlast me. I have a porcelain dipped metal cup that's older than me.
Looks like a nice Griddle for sure.. Maybe a link to it in the description? My next thing.. (which most YTbers don't show is...) Where/how do you plan on storing/packing it when going overlanding? I've always wanted a "packing" for overlanding video to see things in their locked in for travel state... Just curious how you'd do it with this.. since it is kinda big..and seems like it might get in the way a little.
I dont have a drawer system so i will just get packed flat in the back of one of the jeeps. I will get some footage packed and ready or fast forwards packing it up.
I was worried about the weight of the iron griddle over all the bumps on the logging roads, smashing into the burners or housing or heat shield. So I seperated them and put them on their sides with a towel between them, in a xl Tupperware, wedged in with other stuff so they couldn't fall over. That worked !
Welcome to griddle nation. You'll love it. I'll a long time griddler 👍🤙
I have loved it so far 😎
Thanks for sharing! We just bought this grill and I can't wait to try it out. I love how you can cook for a large crowd or just a few. Great video!
Have a 1 year review?
No such thing as a mistake, only learning experiences!
How do the fries taste on the griddle ? Always fry mine , will be using that griddle next week super excited .
Thanks for the information. .
Great with all the seasoning on the griddle!
Thanks for the video. How is the ceramic coating holding up? Also do the metal spatulas scratch the surface? What’s the best way to clean it

I think it keeps it sealed so it dont rust. But tools and metal dont scratch it off.
I JUST BOUGHT A BLACKSTONE. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. SEASON IT TWICE BEFORE USE AND COOK LIKE A PRO.. I MEAN IT. I LOVE IT. DAMN.
Great video
Thanks!!!
Thanks For the vid, like my RG1300 too. I'm also liking your BBQ cart. Any info on where to get one?
I just use a folding aluminum table it's like a card table.
@@TrashPandaAdventures thanks for the reply. Think I found one like it on Amazon.
My mouth right now 🤤 lol

@@TrashPandaAdventures thanks 🙏🏾 I appreciate your time
I love mine. It's my camping buddy. Eliminated grill and pans...
Isn’t this a ceramic griddle surface? How do you like it?
It's pretty good I like that if you leave it out it's not rusted over night
Where can I buy one? I can't find it online or locally. 😩
I need a new griddle for my Hotdog Cart business.
Amazon PD1301R
Did you have to season the griddle?
You don't have to. But you can.
Is this the 22 inch pdq09
I have the 24 inch
Just if RUclips had smell-o-vison looks 👍
Whats the temp like on hot heat
Not sure but I should get a ir temp gauge and maybe make a video on it 🤔

@@TrashPandaAdventures You should not use metal on porcelain. The danger is health-related. You've been warned. Darwin award incoming.
