I really do question why alpha was made a switch exclusive. I mean cytus the series is fantastic gameplay wise. But absolutely terrible when it comes to content. First was pretty good. Though some chapters were way too overpriced. Cytus 2 is even worse, and I haven't played alpha
Cytus Alpha is a remake of Cytus 1, but with two exclusive chapters; DJMAX and Omega. Omega refers to Cytus Omega, which was a cancelled arcade concept of Cytus partnered with Capcom. It was going to have exclusive songs, but they were moved to Cytus Alpha to at least not throw it to the trash after hours of work for those songs and charts, so they ended up not being arcade exclusive, but Alpha exclusive.
No shit, but the controller version is still good for a laid back gameplay, and from what i've seen there's also touchscreen mode, but the gameplay seems more like an in-between between OG and II.
