  • How hard is it to get pigs to move paddock to paddock?
Moving a group of feeder pigs in the woods. No special gates, no hassles.
    Just well trained feeder pigs.
From net opening to net closing was 3 minutes, edited down here for time.

I feel like that’s just the key for pigs. I don’t raise a ton, 10-12 a year, but I had a few real bad experiences learning that there’s no point forcing them to do something they don’t want when you can just set them up to want what you need them to do.

About 50 pigs. Two minutes. Without a squeak. Voila!

I had my pig group trained to a single hot wire until the wild boars got a good sniff and basically ruined my whole operation. Unfortunately, we had to abandon the electric fence setup all together and build huge permanent paddocks in order to keep them rotating on pasture and not half wild.

That was a lot of pigs🐖 what is that paddock size? If you had a stream in a paddock would you keep them out or let them in?🤔

I do something similar but I trap them in an square of hog panels we call "home base" and then I uproot all the fencing and create a new paddock. What charger are you using in this video? Thanks!
