- Had an amazing ride, another video coming soon of this track in Newaygo, MI. Snapped my fender and stuff. Already ordered new parts. I am doing alright, thought I broke my shoulder blade and probably would have if it wasn't a sand track. Lots of new parts in the mail as well. Will have plenty more How To videos haha.
For everyone saying it was whisky throttle you are wrong. My EMIG grip with the built in throttle housing got stuck.

True foxsei. However my kill switch seemed to have severed as well. And the bike never did idle so it stopped fairly quick

this seems like it would be a perferct track to get used to sand.
I had my throttle stick off of a double and tore 4 tendons fractured my humerus and had a terible concussion knocked out for about 15 minutes. Definitely replace throttle cables every month lol

Always keep a finger over that clutch and brake, had you had your finger on the clutch you might've saved it, nice riding and nice bike btw

That happened to me . When you take the carb apart and if you put the sliding piston in the carb back in wrong it'll stick wot
Not what happened, if it was it would have been stuck the moment he started it.
Linus H Forsberg I don't know the same thing happened to me a couple of laps in . Couldn't figure it out then it happened again . I took everything apart and that's what I found . It was in wrong and after that it never happened again .
Hmm, maybe different slide designs on the YZ125 carbs then the carbs i have then.

I love my yz250 blew the top end last summer just got the cyclender back from getting port and polished that's a sand track lol
The throttle didn’t stick, you just whiskey throttled it
And that's why you replace your throttle cable regularly

Wasn't whiskey throttle, he clearly had experience and control of the throttle enough to not whiskey it in such an ordinary mundane spot.
I had that happen to my yz 125 . The slide in the carburetor was in wrong and would hang up at full throttle .
5 Years later and the YZ Carburetor has the same problem. My 2021 YZ125 tried to kill me two times this year on the same way like yours 🙃

When your are racing your yz125 do you stay at the higher gear when you get there then when you slow down you shift down

I'm just curious, what do you do if your throttle gets stuck? Do you just bail or do you pull in the clutch to take power away from the rear tire? but then you would destroy the motor if it ran too long, so do you just choke the motor out?
Jordan Rasdall if you're throttle stays wide open after you crashed then use the killswitch. Or upshift a ton and stall it. And there's not really a way to avoid crashing if it gets stuck

We’re you talking about a 250f or 250 2 stroke cus I can assure you 250 two strokes have way more torque then your little 125

Hit the power band because it stuck lol. When I was slowing down for the turn and cranked it one last ime it got stuck
I know this is gonna sound dumb but the one time I was on my minibike and the throttle got stuck pinned , it was scary asf because I did engine mods to it. And it topped out at about 50 mph , also the kill switch was down on the engine so I had to take a hand off doing about 40 to shut it down. Scary AF when machines go physco

Ive had 3 stuck throttles, its nealry impossible to prevent crashing. It happens way too fast
Killswitch doesn't always work in that situation
Does anyone know how to fix my clutch on my dirt bike Honda crf 150 of the clutch gets stuck on the metal on the handle bars to the side

Andrew Baz depends what is broken. Could be your throttle housing, throttle cable, the spring in your carb or the throttle slide

If it was stuck ur bike would be revving and riding like crazy while on the ground
ZN Gamer it was stuck. You weren't there nor where you in the bike. The killswitch cord was severed and the bike never idled

I got my throttle stuck last week and it was pretty scary. I just grabbed a big hand full of throttle and it just stuck.

why do you break just before the jumps?
William I don't recall ever touching it before jumps. It was prbabaly the resistant s of the sand slowing me down when letting off the gas

Or I dont realy mean "break" but you slow down real much and stop gas or something before the jumps and if it would be in a race you would be much slower than the others but nice videos still =)

If you ride a 125 you need more entry speed into corners and don't let off the throttle like your on a 450 , steady throttle is key in corners
