From what I hear the M340i is a lot quicker and is a bit smoother to drive. I think the C43 looks a lot better tho. From what I hear (can't confirm) BMW interior feels more solid. I do like the crazy tech in the merc. It's a real "give and take" so I guess it comes down to what's important to you. As an example I got an IS500 because comfy ride and V8.
You need to have 1k miles, then in S+ or Race, click both paddles simultaneously that engage Launch Control, then hold the brake and slam the gas; if you are hesitant to hit the gas, it won't work.
Thanks for clarifying. Yes, that's true, but if for some reason you have two canceled launches (rarely), it won't allow a 3rd, but you can click both paddles, and that will engage launch mode.

Idk how car and driver got 3.9. 0-60, I’ve done it multiple times in mine and never gotten above maybe 4.2-4.3. In sport plus, with good brand new tires, and launch control. Fastest acceleration I’ve ever gotten was when I timed the downshift perfectly and had full boost, launched so hard my tires spun for a solid second with a AWD car 😂
I own a E430 and a ML55. I would love a new Merc but, I can’t stand all the electronics in new cars. Both are 2002. And they have electronic issues. Imagine how these NEW vehicles with all the crap they put in will be in 20 years.. unusable
