We were Disney annual pass holders for over 10 years. We visited Disney and Disneyworld several times. 4 years ago, we visited Xcaret for the first time, and we fell in love with the resort. Now, instead of going to Disney, we go to Xcaret, and my entire family loves it.
! Thanks to memories & mojitos ! This our second trip to Secrets Akumal ! Our son and his girlfriend came back from arte 2 weeks ago and loved it we are thinking next time! Love your blogs!
Great video. I love that you put your schedule on Canva. That is exactly something I would do. LOL.. Looks like a beautiful resort, thanks for sharing with us
Beautiful resort! Love when Ethan & Kaden join on the vlog with their detailed reviews. Was the buffet the only restaurant that didn't allow you take food out?
You booked this trip for me! We enjoyed it but did not find that the food or service was comparable to Atelier! The parks were fun but we were a bit let down
I agree on all fronts. For the same money you can get a much better room at Atelier too. The parks are a one-and-done. I expect Xcaret room prices to go down when the hype finally dies down. They have no beach, no lobby bar/quiet lounge, and dinner reservations are extremely limited, especially Encanta. The hotel always felt overbooked. The Instagram-worthy rooftop pool is only for club level rooms. The only other rooftop pool that serves food is always crowded. The buffet is pretty awesome though, especially the Sunday brunch with many extra items. Hydrotherapy at the spa is cool.
@@anonymous00117 you summed it up perfectly! I could have gone back to Atelier twice, for what I paid for Xcaret. And yes the rooms are so much nicer at Atelier as well as in the in-room snacks. And they had no food service poolside like Atelier , only drinks. You have to get out of the pool, and dressed to go into a nearby restaurant. Also they don't offer golf cart rides around the resort like Atelier! Every time my daughter and I would be walking somewhere at Atelier, somebody would stop and pick us up on a golf cart and transport us where we were going . Yes!! I was bummed that we flew home before the buffet because it did look amazing!
@@ErinPowell4 yeah the lack of food at the main pool annoyed me. We got dressed for lunch at Arenal and the hostess said our pants were damp so we couldn't get a table 🙄. Cloth seat cushions for a restaurant by the pool/lagoon, great idea. They reluctantly gave us a table and removed the cushions. The dinner Tomahawk at Arenal was chewy and over-salted. Atelier had really good BBQ ribs by the pools. They definitely have the best all inclusive food I've ever had with the exception of the steakhouse (easily the worst food there). My favorite restaurant was Takeshi for the duck, Mongolian beef, and rib tips. It's far from being authentic Asian food but it didn't matter. I'm heading to Secrets Cap Cana next month, this channel's favorite from 2022. Lots of pool and beach food options over there. Might sneak into the Hyatt Zilara next door and check it out, it's consistently well reviewed.
The resort looks gorgeous and massive!!! Boys in the bubble bath was hilarious - always appreciate their honest review and humor from a teenage boy perspective 😂 Is Glen their new name for Kevin?
Heyy me and my husband are planning to go to this resort I just have a question for the dinner restaurants do you need to make reservations and if so would it be better to make them ahead of time or on the spot when u get to the resort
I was wondering who you have been booking your private transfers with. My last couple visits to Cancun I have not been happy with the company I have booked. Thank you
We don’t use one company in particular. I have 5-6 that I rotate through so I am constantly making sure my clients are getting the best service possible!
Does anyone else make this channel part of their Sunday morning coffee break! 😆 This resort looks so nice! Looking forward to the rest of the vlogs!
Enjoy ☕️
We do !!!!!! Every Sunday morning we can’t wait to watch. We LOVE ❤️ them.
@davegrimpe9052 hi Dave!
Same😊❤ I always look forward to her weekly videos.
The Sweet Potato/Plantain cart at Arte was the best!!!

They’ll be there all week 😂
I love the comedic duo of Ethan and Kaden.
They sure are something 😂 they are out golfing together now
These boys are hilarious!
I love how much you love your son and his friend. The family/friends trips are so much fun to watch. Great video.

It was an easy way to share my plans with the rest of the group, so they could pick and choose what they wanted to do with us 😊
Great stuff!
Love the resort! Boys are rad! Love them!😂
They are 🤍🤍
Beautiful resort!

It’s pretty standard to not be able to take food from any restaurants at resorts.
Love the boys reviews!

@@anonymous00117 please at me when you get back and let me know how Secrets was. Trying to decide on trying somewhere new or going back to Atelier
I love your videos! What company did you schedule the private transportation from to Xcaret?
Any company will do! Pick your favorite 😊

Glen is their boss at work 😊

Depends on the restaurant. Some require them and some don’t. Your travel agent will go over the wishlist with you when you book!
You need to go to their Spa!!!!!
We did 😊
what was that drink at 8:20 it looks so refreshing !?
Pina colada
Awesome. What is the best airline to use for credit card points in your experience thx?
Depends on where you fly from. We do best using American Airlines
@@MemoriesandMojitosTravel Bradley airport or New Haven last resort is always JFK
I find they add so much garlic as well. So now I ask no garlic and they prepare everything without garlic for me.
We all love garlic! The smoke was just blowing right at them 😊
